Despite being called out by previous female acts, IShawna didn’t take any of them on and worked the stage. Produced by Justus of Jamaica Production, IShawna makes it clear that while she has the looks, she can get down when it comes to housework, staying armed with great culinary skills, while being an awesome lover. She gets at those who want to be the “Wife” type but can’t even prepare a proper meal or take care of their man. I like this one from her, and many can hear this and work on stepping their game up. Many can recall last year when DJ Foota Hype and Singer IShawna were riding on the wave off news of their engagement. Since then they have broken off their engagement and terminated their long term relationship. Tonight on Onstage, IShawna says that she “Needs Love“. She spoke about her breakup with Foota Hype, furthering her career, still working with DownSound Records, and future projects. IShawna also premiered the music video for “Need Love“.
