Teejay Brings The UpTop Vibes In New @FunkFlex “Studio Energy” Series

A few days ago, Dancehall Artist Teejay made a stop in the US for a number of performances and Press Runs. One of the stops he had to make was at the Hot 97 studio to link up with the legendary DJ FunkFlex. Starting a new In-studio performance series called “Studio Energy“, Teejay was selected for the premiere episode.

Joining FunkFlex and DJ Juanyto, Teejay kicked off “Studio Energy” with his signature melodic delivery, and plenty lyrics to keep the people focused on him. The Deejay has been enjoying crossover success of “Drift” on the International market, and with a Warner Music deal secured, we can expect him to do a lot more in the coming months, and possibly release that long-awaited “Rags To Riches” album, or that recently hinted EP.

Bless up Jamaica and New York City. Today we’re witnessing a historic moment thanks to Chris Matic, a Jamaican born Rapper who resides in Brooklyn, New York! Having been on the grind for some time, his day finally arrived once he signed with IB Music, a division of Invisible Bully which was started by Damion “D-Roc” Butler and Diddy. Since his signing, Chris Matic has been showing up at various outlets dropping bar after bar, and impressing many. Today is no different however as he checks in with the legendary DJ Funk Flex at Hot 97, and he delivered! Over Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle” and Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm” Instrumentals, he lets us know he’s not in the 360 deal life, rolling with D-Roc and Diddy, and showcasing why he’s one of the nicest out there. Many have thrown dirt his way over the years, but Recording Artist/Fur Expert Safaree stands tall regardless. Recently, he stopped by the Hot 97 Studio to rap a few bars for Funkmaster Flex. As a part of the DJ’s Freestyle series, Safaree fires off in episode 78. From changing furs during, to sending a jab at fellow Jamaican, popular Youtube personality DJ Akademiks, we’re surprised he didn’t throw his signature “Suck ya mada” during.
