US Recording Artist Coi Leray has positioned herself to becoming one of the hottest acts to emerge on the scene in the past few years. With a few hits already, her place is secured, and she will continue journey to even more success. She adds to her growing discography with her much-anticipated new album, “Coi“.

The 16 track album features Coi Leray’s signature vibe and sound, but she tapped in a little on the Caribbean side when she recruited Dancehall Artist Skillibeng for the track, “Radioactive“. Produced by Johnny Goldstein, the uptempo track brings out rapid deliveries from the Artists, with Skilli sprinkling some of the E-Syde badness throughout. Skillibeng continues to keep his name relevant overseas thanks to live performances and collaborations, and on Sunday (June 25), he joined Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes on stage at the 2023 BET Awards. Congrats to Skillibeng on another International collaboration.

It has been a year for Dancehall Artist Aidonia. He has experienced some pains, and is slowly on the mend. Despite that, he is still celebrated around the world, and we hope it has given him a well needed boost. Getting back to business, he releases the visual for the track, “Gadly“.

Produced by Banga House MG and Crash Dummy, Aidonia steps out with guns loaded, and feeling “Gadly”. We get hints of a younger Donia who was armed to the teeth with gun lyrics, and only time will tell if that side will come back in a big way. On the new track however, he calmly holds his stance like a seasoned General at war, whose aim is to seek and destroy. The Shane Creative-directed video finds him among some of his people, ready for whatever.

“Gadly” is expected to appear on Aidonia’s upcoming “Occupied Mind: The Project“, which will be released later this year. If you want to take yourself back to those days when Donia was trigger happy on a track, check out our Aidonia Playlist here.

Internet sensation/Recording Artist Kizzy Don’s year has seen a series of highs, and a number of low moments. Having gained a respectable following on TikTok thanks to her various skits and interactions, she has also gained her fair share of negative remarks, and faced a few unfortunate incidents. She still pushes on, and looks to become a name that owns a few hits locally and Internationally. She recently released the visual for the new single, “Hollywood“.

Produced by Lenoi Bentley, Kizzy Don giving her Female listeners an extra dose of confidence on “Hollywood”. She delivers in a way that will have listeners imitating, and she brings an energy throughout that will keep the track in heavy rotation. The Saii Media-directed visual features cameos by Social Media sensations AbleBoss, Mackerel, and Lando Dmajorr, and we see Kizzy along with Able and Lando take on Judge roles as a number of Women step up to show off their respective looks and skills in a competition. Earlier this year, US Recording Artist/Actress Janelle Monaé announced that she will be releasing her latest album, “The Age Of Pleasure“. Along with that came the single “Lipstick Lover“. While the racy visual showed another side of her, it contained the familiar sound of Dancehall Artist Mad Cobra’s 1992 hit, “Flex“. With the new album just released, a few more familiar sounds joined in.

On Janelle Monaé’s “The Age Of Pleasure” album, Jamaican Recording Artists Derrick Harriott, Barrington Levy, Sister Nancy, and Queen Patra all join Mad Cobra on a few tracks. On the 2nd track “Champagne S***“, Levy’s 1984 hit “Murderer” was sampled. The classic track also appears on the follow up track, “Black Sugar Beach“. “Murderer” was produced by Hyman Wright and Pat Chin, and released through the Grade One label. Sister Nancy’s 1982 hit “Bam Bam” was sampled on the track “Water Slide“. Patra’s “Whining Skill” from her 1993 debut album “Queen Of The Pack” was also sampled on the track. “Bam Bam” secures the title of the most sampled Jamaican song, and we have a Playlist and a few words about it here. Sister Nancy is also a featured Artist, appearing on the track, “French 75“. “Whining” was produced by Tony “CD” Kelly and Clifton “Specialist” Dillon. The legendary Grace Jones also appears on the album as a featured Artist, delivering on “Oooh La La“. Coming to the closing of the album, Derrick Harriott’s 1967 classic, “The Loser” was sampled on the track, “Only Have Eyes 42“. The track was released through Crystal Records, and produced by Harriott. Many have speculated that Monaé would have Jamaican influences on her new album, and what was brought forward did not disappoint.

Heph B Announces New World Tour, Hints At New Album

AfroDancehall Recording Artist Heph B has been enjoying a career that has granted him many high points. Having carved a lane and becoming a global name thanks to his various singles and projects over the years, Heph strongly believes in making music that will stand out, and become timeless. He looks to take the stage in various parts of the world this summer with the “AMARII Album World Tour”.

Announced recently after securing his latest plaque for the iTunes charting of his “AMARII (Deluxe)” album, Heph B is gearing up to take his music to the people in a major way. Starting on June 22 in the Dominican Republic, Heph will perform cuts from the “AMARII” and “AMARII (Deluxe)” albums along with a number of previously released singles, with focus on promoting unity, good vibes, and endless fun along throughout. Joining him on the tour will be Nigerian Artist Bolojay, who has been making waves with his music over the years, along with surprise guests. Aside from the Dominican Republic bookings, the “AMARII Album World Tour” will also make stops throughout the United States, the UK, The Bahamas, and Jamaica, and will take place between June and October. Promoters who wish to book Heph B for more venues during the tour, are encouraged to reach out to his management and bookings team as there will be a few open dates for more shows.

In addition to the new tour, Heph B has also announced that he will be releasing a new album during the 4th quarter of 2023. A new single to start the album’s rollout will be revealed in the coming weeks.
