It’s been a few weeks since the last release, but “Cruff SZN” is still in effect. King Cruff has been making a lot of progress this year thanks to his releases, and aims to make a bigger impact for the rest of the year. This time around, he gives us the new single, “Vigilante“.

Produced by Just Ideas and Dyse, King Cruff takes the law into his own hands on “Vigilante”. He effortlessly handles the AfroPop production as he makes a few bold statements throughout. He continues to stand out with the flow and lyrics, and we can expect the new single to ring out in a few places in the coming days. He made the promise in our Short Film we did with him earlier this year that he will be consistent with the music, and we look forward to a project from him hopefully early next year. Have been enjoying “Cruff SZN“? King Cruff is ensuring that your speakers and Playlists are filled with great music. The year has already seen a number of releases, but the Artist is not taking his foot off the gas. This time around, he goes Pop with the new single, “Proppa Ghanda“.

Done in collaboration with Production duo Banx & Ranx, King Cruff steps out with some new and funky on “Proppa Ghanda”. He stands out with a production that gives off 80s Reggae Pop vibes, and with his delivery, he proves more and more that he’s the Artist you NEED to know. The SZN has provided great sounds that you should warmly embrace. The accompanying Music Video finds King Cruff joining Banx & Ranx in a series of flashy visuals bringing out a vibe that compliments the song well. In case you didn’t know, we’re still in “Cruff SZN“. King Cruff emphasized in our recent feature that he will release more music this year, and before you know it, there will be an album available. Still reaching out to new territories and ears, he has been finding success with “FallBack“, and “LINGO“, and now he’s taking the vibes to North America with, “Toronto Condo Girls“.

Produced by Circa Eleven and Tessellated and featuring Solo YT, King Cruff continues his journey in making music that will stand out. The Artists share their adventures in the big city, the Women they’ve come across, and overall secured another collab over solid production that will be on repeat. Cruff and Solo recently shared their “LINGO” collaboration that has been doing well, so “Toronto Condo Girls” will be another one for the books (Can we expect a collab EP from them?). A lot can happen in the big city, just be careful of the people you interact with.

Since the late 2010s, King Cruff has been putting in the work to get his name out there as a Recording Artist. Formerly known as Solyd Roy, he has tapped into Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats, Pop, and Hip Hop sounds to create music that you need to hear. He has found some success in the 2020s, and he has a lot more to do. With his name being a part of the Tuff Gong roster, the world will have no choice but to get familiar. To get you started, we have created a Short Film where you can get familiar with King Cruff. Get to know about his beginnings, his background, get familiar with his music, and more as we’re currently in the “Cruff SZN“.

Along with the release of his latest single “LINGO” featuring Solo YT, “King Cruff: A Short Film” is a welcomed addition to your content consumption. Shot in Kingston at the Bob Marley Museum, we caught up with King Cruff ahead of his performance at the birthday celebration for the late Jo Mersa Marley at Reggaeland in Nine Miles, St. Ann. King Cruff returns with new tings! After stepping out with “FallBack” recently with Runkus, he has been busy doing promotional runs, taking over stages, and building his brand. We chopped it up with him recently (now available here), and he shared that it’s “Cruff SZN“, and we’ll be getting plenty content throughout the year. Today’s a new day in “Cruff SZN”, and the new track is called, “LINGO“.

Produced by Aditya Eswar and featuring Nigerian-Canadian Artist Solo YT, King Cruff is aiming for the ladies with “LINGO”. Everybody needs somebody, but they have to come correct because there won’t be any begging for time, tolerance for bad energy, and no time to be treated like an option. In other words, we have to speak to same language, so let’s talk in our lingo. King Cruff delivers his message in a great way over Afrobeats-inspired production, and Solo YT steps in with a style that greatly compliments the track. Expect “LINGO” to find its way into plenty speakers in the coming days, and may just be an early contender for a Summer 2024 hit. Another Tuff Gong Collective release! 2023 was the warmup for King Cruff, and 2024 will be the championship round! After scoring big with the StoneBwoy and Jag.Huligan-featured “SHEDOENEED“, Cruff has become quite the commodity in the months that followed. From Interviews to live performances, things have climbed a few levels in the months that followed. The Tuff Gong Collective/UMusic signee is charged up, so prepare to be thrilled with the release of, “Fallback“.

Teaming up with Recording Artist Runkus, King Cruff gives us “Heartbreak Dancehall” on “Fallback”. They deal with Women who love them like the seasons, and they deal with her accordingly. Over smooth production by Banx & Ranx, Runkus handles hook duties in his signature way while Cruff shares the saga. Great combination aside, the track is accompanied by music video directed by Kit Weyman, and it gives us the feeling of a Horror movie (Think Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, but shot in Jamaica). The video not only features the Artists, but the beautiful leading ladies Roginea Dixon, Annaje, and Smiles Buchanan, and parts of Jamaica including the famous Bob Marley Beach (Which has been included in a series of topics and petitions where it needs to be protected, and allowed free public access). “Fallback” is expected to become one of the big hits for the year, and we expect it to become one that is widely loved on Social Media.
