When it comes to the name Bakersteez, many quickly associate him with the Jamaican Trap Music scene, as he is one of the earlier Artists to emerge from it. Having released a number of tracks and projects over the years, he has gained a reasonable following, and has been recognized by some of your favourite local and International Artists. He is still on the grind, and he keeps the content going with the release of “Bezos“.

Released to celebrate his birthday, Bakersteez focuses on what’s important on “Bezos”. Never one to be lost in the crowd, he’s all about getting to the money, keeping the links strong with his friends and family, and doing whatever he wants. The video highlights a few of his friends, and some of his adventures. Will Bakersteez drop a follow up project to his 2021 “Active” EP? Stay tuned. Dancehall Artist Alkaline has been having a busy 2023, and we know the fans are not mad at that. From making moves in high fashion, to doing numbers on the music streaming platforms, to performing at sold out events, Alka is working. Keeping up with the consistency, he released the visual for the single, “Boss“.

The Autobamb Records/Sartout Records-produced “Boss” received positive feedback since its release earlier this year, and with a Diggz-directed visual, it just extended its shelf life. The video finds Alkaline enjoying life whether he’s sailing the Yacht, or chilling with the Goats and Llamas at the Petting Zoo, or just riding Quad Bikes with the crew. Sometimes you need to take a break from all the craziness. Azkella Releases Visual For @SOSDynamikz-Produced, “Never Safe”

Recording Artist Azkella is steadily making her way up to the forefront of Jamaica’s music scene. For a number of years she has been releasing content and making her name known, and the coming months could see her making the right impact. This time around, she gets dark in the video for the track, “Never Safe“.

Directed by Pixledge Studios, Azkella gets into some bad gyal vibes on “Never Safe”. Decked out in all black with a weapon or two close by, she has some aggression to go with her fit that will have people treading carefully. Azkella taps into some Goth Girl vibes here, and her delivery proves that she doesn’t limit her sound, and won’t be boxed in. She teamed up with longtime Producer/Collaborator SOS Dynamikz for “Never Safe”, and one can hope there’s a project with them in the works. If you’re not familiar with Azkella, take this time to get familiar with her sound. Don’t cross her, for it won’t end well.

Pablo YG Reconnects With A Friend One Last Time In “D.I.E.”

Life is just for living they say, and one day you pass away. While we can’t go back in time to relive certain memories with certain people, we just have to cherish things and people who are no longer with us. Dancehall Artist Pablo YG understands that death is inevitable, but he can’t help miss the people that played vital roles in his life. He speaks on it in the video for the track, “D.I.E.“.

Directed by Khingcam, Pablo YG is seen visiting the spot where one of his friends passed away from, only to be met with the living dead. His late friend appears thanks to being in purgatory, and Pablo gets to spend some time with him and reminisce until that friend is gone for good. Sometimes we wish we could get even 5 minutes with that special person, but all we have are memories to keep them alive in our hearts. “D.I.E.” appears on Pablo YG’s recently released “Bad Juvi” mixtape. R.I.P. to our loved ones, and may they rest well in the afterlife.

A few weeks ago, we highlighted that Vybz Kartel and Popcaan reunited on the single, “Dull Colour“. The track has received praise and positive feedback since then, and people have been asking for more content from them. The request has been fulfilled as there is now a music video for the track.

Directed by Face Xpression, fans get a chance to see Popcaan perform “Dull Colour” with a few highlights to the “World Boss” through. The video also gives us a story of a young man who is ambitious, but has been having a rough time securing work in Jamaica. Later in the video he is suggested by friends to get work overseas, and life turned around for him in the end. As “Dull Colour” makes its way to more ears, the video is sure to do very well. It’s another Gaza reunion.

Dancehall Artist Kraff continues to keep his production line busy, and he is covering more ground with his live performances. The “1 Buduchop” boss recently released the visual for the track, “Julius Caesar“.

Shot in Canada and directed by The Knemesis, Kraff belts out lyrics like a mad poet on “Julius Caesar”. Over production by Droptop Records, he makes bold statements, reflects on his rise, and puts the pieces together that will make him a greater Artist over time. A clean visual to support the track, and Kraff is looking to keep things more interesting as the year progresses. He was a part of a small feud recently, but that won’t get in the way of his mission. Get familiar with him if you haven’t already.
