.@Niyne__ & @RxpFlo Provide A “Life Hack” On New Collaboration!

In 2020, Rappers Niyne and Rxp Flo made noise with their respective projects, “Trapping From The North” and “Trap Island” respectively. Just a couple members of the growing Trap movement in Jamaica that has influenced Dancehall in recent years, only time will tell when we’ll see the movement grow beyond measure. While they have their respective fan bases, they start off the new year with a collaboration called, “Life Hack“.

Produced by Jae Martin, Niyne and Rxp Flo trade bars as they aim to get to all the bags, and if there is opposition, they’ll handle it in their own way. Not only are they bringing some energy to the scene, but they bring together their respective collectives, and possibly hinting at a soon to be released joint project. The Hip Hop scene has grown in all sort of ways in Jamaica, and you best believe it won’t die anytime soon. Get familiar with the wave!

The year may have found him putting in the work behind the scenes, and now he’s back with big tunes. Teaming up with Florida Rapper Splash Zanotti, we get the track, “BOW“!

Produced by Felva, Popeye Caution and Splash Zanotti hit the block on the hunt for the loot! With Popeye kicking off the track with the catchy “Buddu bye bow…“, we get some Trap Dancehall vibes with Splash adding some extra badness. Expect this one to make some noise in the coming weeks. In addition to the track, an official music video is set to hit the Internet soon.

@RudeJerms Brings The Crew Out In New Visual For “Why Me”

The ongoing relationship with Dancehall Music and the Trap Music sub genre of Hip Hop seems to be a promising one. With influences from acts like Migos, Travis Scott, and Lil Uzi Vert to name a few, expect many established and upcoming acts to expand their creativity. Recently we featured a Mix from Jamaican Rapper Jermani and DJ Mac, and today we feature a visual from the single, “Why Me“. Shot and directed by Deth (a.k.a. “ShotByDeth“), Jerms fires off bars while his crew holds it down in the night. The Lo Flame production gives off an eerie sound fitting the video’s dark setting and makes you pay attention while Jerms tells you what his RUDE life is like. Why pree my G? Armed with green hair, a bad attitude, lyrics, and her crew, Mystic is ready for whatever in the visual for the DizTroy assisted “30 Bad Bitches“. Directed by Dennis Brown Films and shot in Port Antonio, we see Mystic firing off lyrics, getting her nails done, and busting out the moves with her all girl crew in various scenes. What also caught us is the beauty of the location especially the backdrop displayed while Mystic gets her nails done, and various random shots. The Producers Dizzle and Troy Baker make brief appearances in the video along with an old white lady who was not shy about showing off her moves. Packing the Mac in the back of the ‘Lac, punish a fassy who willing fi chat. The DizTroy Featuring Mystic Davis EP is now available on iTunes.
