The Soul Train Awards is an annual event that honours the best in Black Music and Entertainment. Aired on BET, it featured performances and awarded some of the best in the business. In this video Journalist/News Anchor Wolf Blitzer and Jamaica’s own Tessanne Chin played their part at the event. Here they briefly spoke on some social issues and introduced Singer Aloe Blacc to the stage. A nice highlight for Tessanne as she has been making moves since her win on NBC’s The Voice. After being demoted to the bottom three along with Ryan Sill and Reagan James, the #VoiceSave feature came through for Ryan thus keeping him for another week on the show. Anita parted with the show by singing Jason Mraz’s “The Remedy“. Will she return as a wildcard next week? Having one up on the other women today is Dancehall artist IShawna with “Domesticated“. Produced by Justus of Jamaica Production, IShawna makes it clear that while she has the looks, she can get down when it comes to housework, staying armed with great culinary skills, while being an awesome lover. She gets at those who want to be the “Wife” type but can’t even prepare a proper meal or take care of their man. I like this one from her, and many can hear this and work on stepping their game up.
