Since Vybz Kartel’s incarceration, many current and upcoming acts have been trying to fill void left by the “World Boss“. One of those includes Deejay Gage and tonight fir the first time he joined Winford Williams on Onstage. Here he spoke about filling the void in Dancehall, introducing himself to the larger audience, the popularity of his single “Throat“, aiming to bring something new to the table, his start in May Pen, Clarendon, bring raised by his father and not having his mother in his life, being a part of Reggae Sumfest, being compared to Tommy Lee Sparta, future projects and more. Not a bad interview here, Gage has been making a name for himself for quite a while. While he grew up without a mom, it’s good that his father did what he had to for him. TLS

Since his debut, Tommy Lee Sparta has been through a few things. From meeting in an accident to troubles with the law to suspicions of him crying in a recorded phone conversation, Tommy Lee stepped on Onstage to have a chat with Winford Williams. Here he spoke about the recorded conversation, Vybz Kartel, his career so far and squashing talks of his popularity dying down, touring and his experiences, his situation in Dominica, new music including an album and tracks being a part of projects overseas, his fan base, and more. I do hope Tommy Lee can overcome his current situations and continue to work on his career. Check out the videos below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Directed by Wayne South, the Sparta Boss drops lyrics about ladies being freaky for him, and having his way with them while see are treated to half naked strippers, blue light, glow in the dark paint and lots of colours. If you’re on the job tonight, make the browser window smaller and if you’re home, keep it away from the kids. A very sexual video with many innuendos like the photo below. VIDEO: @IAmTheKartel At @ReggaeSumfest 2011

a16dxzGiven that today is “Throwback Thursday” for some, why not bring my readers back in time with one of Vybz Kartel’s last performances before being apprehended by the law. Performing at Reggae Sumfest 2011, Vybz, along with Sheba, Popcaan, Gaza Slim, Tommy Lee Sparta, and Shawn Storm, performed a slew of hits and brought a lot of energy to the event. For many, this would’ve been the last time they’ve seen Vybz Kartel perform live. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
