Last year, Recording Artist King Cruff released his debut EP, “What Have I ‘Don“. The project was a big step for the Artist, and since then he has been working on bringing his brand to more parts of the world. The new year expects more content from him, and he’s fulfilling orders already. Earlier, he released the video for the track, “Rita’s Revenge“.

Directed by Ian Simon and Neil-Anthony Watson, King Cruff steps out for the family with “Rita’s Revenge”. Featured on his debut EP, Cruff gives the people a delivery that lets listeners know he’s gonna be here for a long time, and do his part in branching out with the Marley name. Taking cues from his grandparents, he’s not holding back in his lyrics, and the flashy visual highlights more of the creativity that we’ve been paying attention to. King Cruff looks to hit the road this year, and he will be making his debut appearance at the popular SXSW Music Festival this March in Austin, Texas. Roll with the Tuff Gong.

If you’re a follower of this platform, you’d know of Canada-based Recording Artist King Cruff. Since the late 2010s, he has been on the scene building his fanbase, and developing his sound. Blending Hip Hop with Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats, Pop, and a lil EDM, he has been winning over listeners with his selections, and silencing his doubters. Earlier this year, we released a Short Film on Cruff, and he revealed that he would be releasing a project this year. He came through on that word with the release of his debut EP, “What Have I ‘Don“.

Presenting 6 tracks, King Cruff takes center stage with his “What Have I ‘Don” EP. His skillset takes an upgrade as he shows that world that he is made for this. An exhibition of potent flows and sharp lyrics that tap into Afrobeats, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Pop sounds, this representative of the Tuff Gong camp has what it takes to make music that will stand out. Released through Tuff Gong Collective/Universal Music Canada, Cruff recruited Banx & Ranx, !llmind, CircaEleven, OLivR, and Natural High Music for some heavy production while Skip Marley, Solo Yt, Jag.Huligin, and StoneBwoy join in on the fun. King Cruff is here to make an impact and do a lot for the culture, and like his Grandfather, dem a go tyad fi see him face.

It’s been a few weeks since the last release, but “Cruff SZN” is still in effect. King Cruff has been making a lot of progress this year thanks to his releases, and aims to make a bigger impact for the rest of the year. This time around, he gives us the new single, “Vigilante“.

Produced by Just Ideas and Dyse, King Cruff takes the law into his own hands on “Vigilante”. He effortlessly handles the AfroPop production as he makes a few bold statements throughout. He continues to stand out with the flow and lyrics, and we can expect the new single to ring out in a few places in the coming days. He made the promise in our Short Film we did with him earlier this year that he will be consistent with the music, and we look forward to a project from him hopefully early next year. In case you didn’t know, we’re still in “Cruff SZN“. King Cruff emphasized in our recent feature that he will release more music this year, and before you know it, there will be an album available. Still reaching out to new territories and ears, he has been finding success with “FallBack“, and “LINGO“, and now he’s taking the vibes to North America with, “Toronto Condo Girls“.

Produced by Circa Eleven and Tessellated and featuring Solo YT, King Cruff continues his journey in making music that will stand out. The Artists share their adventures in the big city, the Women they’ve come across, and overall secured another collab over solid production that will be on repeat. Cruff and Solo recently shared their “LINGO” collaboration that has been doing well, so “Toronto Condo Girls” will be another one for the books (Can we expect a collab EP from them?). A lot can happen in the big city, just be careful of the people you interact with.

King Cruff returns with new tings! After stepping out with “FallBack” recently with Runkus, he has been busy doing promotional runs, taking over stages, and building his brand. We chopped it up with him recently (now available here), and he shared that it’s “Cruff SZN“, and we’ll be getting plenty content throughout the year. Today’s a new day in “Cruff SZN”, and the new track is called, “LINGO“.

Produced by Aditya Eswar and featuring Nigerian-Canadian Artist Solo YT, King Cruff is aiming for the ladies with “LINGO”. Everybody needs somebody, but they have to come correct because there won’t be any begging for time, tolerance for bad energy, and no time to be treated like an option. In other words, we have to speak to same language, so let’s talk in our lingo. King Cruff delivers his message in a great way over Afrobeats-inspired production, and Solo YT steps in with a style that greatly compliments the track. Expect “LINGO” to find its way into plenty speakers in the coming days, and may just be an early contender for a Summer 2024 hit. Another Tuff Gong Collective release! She gets her own, she run things, and doesn’t need anything but to be loved. She’s a Dancehall Queen, and the floor is hers when her song is on.
