Yanah Doesn’t Want To Be Unappreciated In “Wahala”

In this thing called love, no one wants to be treated like an option, nor made to feel less than. Yanah is going through something like that, but she’s putting her foot down, and calling the shots in her new single, “Wahala“.

Produced by Travis “Trex” Bailey, Yanah doesn’t like to feel unappreciated, and she’s doing something about it in, “Wahala”. “Wahala” means “trouble/problem” in Nigerian Pidgin, but Yanah’s love interest is going to have a lot of problems on his hands if he’s not treating her right, and she’s the last one to trouble. With the accompanying Music Video directed by BadGee Studios, we’re treated to a clean visual, and we see a beautiful Woman who is a little unlucky in the love department. Yanah has been staying consistent with the music this year, and for the fans, she might just deliver a project later this year. Stay tuned for the updates, and enjoy her recent releases.

The great thing about Women’s History Month, not only do we get to highlight some of the Women who have paved the way for others to follow, but we get to highlight the Women who are creating their own wave today. One of those Women is Recording Artist Yanah, who has been developing her sound for a number of years, and we believe she’s working on becoming a bigger, better Artist, inspiring others along the way. Recently, she premiered her new single, “Calm Down“.

Produced by Travis “Trex” Bailey, Yanah gets sensual on her new single, “Calm Down”. Using her sultry vocals over some solid production, she’s wooing listeners into her world, and for those who have their eye on her, you’ll be in for something fun when you get caught in her lyrics. Yanah continues to showcase her versatility, and “Calm Down” may become an instant favourite for those familiar with her music. The track is accompanied by a Music Video Co-directed with BadGee Studios, and we find the Singer raising the temperature with her visual. With the voice, lyrics, and looks, it’s going to be as little difficult to calm down, and we look forward to what else Yanah has in store this year.

YG Marley Shares Visual For Viral Hit, “Praise Jah In The Moonlight”

2024 is the year of the Marley. Bob Marley’s biopic “One Love” hit Theatres and did numbers, Julian Marley won a GRAMMY, The Marley Brothers announced a tour, Sharon Marley returned to music, and the Grandchildren of Bob Marley including King Cruff and YG Marley released music, and gained global recognition. YG Marley has been doing well for himself, his “Praise Jah In The Moonlight“, despite mixed criticism, has earned him over a billion streams, and has taken him as far the recently-held Coachella to perform it beside his Mother, Miss Lauryn Hill. The song has done a lot, and continues to make waves on Social Media, and YG adds more life to it with the release of the official Music Video.

Directed by Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, YG Marley brought the energy of the song to Jamaica with the official visual for “Praise Jah In The Moonlight”. YG takes to the streets, where he proceeds to bring light and love to various communities and individuals by offering flowers, and channels his positive energy to others. The visual also finds him surrounded by Singers in a garden (shout out Yanah who has a cameo appearance), as he performs his hit that aims to climb higher in the music scene. The video features appearances by his Marley family, Kabaka Pyramid, Jesse Royal, and Miss Lauryn Hill. Speaking on Miss Hill, we look forward to the remix of “Praise Jah” with her lyrics. Directed by Vartex Studio, Kxng Izem celebrates natural beauty in a great way in the video for “BBL”. He shares his love for the Woman who doesn’t need to go under the knife to look beautiful, and he encourages them to be the standard in a world that’s filled with many negative influences. Izem brings out some beautiful ladies including Recording Artists GyalKapone, Joby Jay, Yanah, and Akina Eman, while friends like Royal Blu and Kalex make appearances to support the ladies. “BBL” is featured on the “Till Dawn” EP, and was produced by Ten24 Music/Island Wav. It’s All About Energy In Yanah’s “Sagittarius Moon”!

Singer Yanah gets back to the music, and seeks to make a bigger impact. She was away for a bit, but we guarantee you that her captivating vocals are still present, and she has some “Yanah SZN” content ready for you to tap into. Her return comes in the form of the music video for the single, “Sagittarius Moon“.

Directed by Yanah with assistance from Mark Llewellyn, “Sagittarius Moon” is a soulful look into energy, and the role it plays while she seeks to share hers with someone new. Production for the track was done by Janoi Senior a.k.a. SNR Beats. The video finds her connecting with nature (while rocking a crocheted bathing suit), and presenting herself in a beautiful way in her first music video.
