Jeremy Harding’s “Playground Riddim” Gets Sampled On @Mahalia & @BurnaBoy’s “Simmer”!

The season’s pretty hot, but you’re gonna need to cool down when UK Recording Artist/Actress Mahalia’s new tune drops! Teaming up with Nigeria Afrobeats Artist Burna Boy, they release “Simmer“! Produced by Jonah Christian and Felix Joseph, the Artists get into some relationship talk over a very familiar sample. Taking its place as an instantly recognizable sound is Jamaican Producer Jeremy Harding’s 1997 “Playground Riddim“! Released through the 2 Hard label, the Riddim featured Sean Paul’s “Infiltrate“, Cobra’s “Pet and Pamper“, Mr. Vegas’ “Nike Air“, and Beenie Man’s “Who Am I” a.k.a. “Sim Simma“!
