Skeng Unveils “Demons Awake” Ahead Of New EP Release!

Dancehall Artist Skeng is having one of his best years. With plenty hits to his name along with high-profile Artists co-signing him, Skeng has been given the opportunity to show the world that he wasn’t a fly-by-night act. Readying the release of his EP, “Beast Of The Era“, he gives us the music video for the track, “Demons Awake“.

Directed by RD Studios, Skeng steps up to let us know what’s going on in his life, and what he’s gonna embark on next. While he shares that he has experienced pain and is trying to numb it through different means, he is confident in moving forward to make better things happen. “Demons Awake” is the intro on the upcoming EP, was produced by DiTruth Records, and gives listeners a taste of what’s to come. Skeng continues to elevate, and many are tuned in to see what’s next for the “Spain Town badman“.

Chxpz Shares His “Views” In New Video!

Dancehall Artist Chxpz is back at it again with new content! His foot hasn’t been taken off the gas this year, and we expect to see him take it up another notch come 2023. Till then, he released the visual for the track, “Views“.

Directed by Dark Moon Cinema, Chxpz gets serious about his mission on “Views”. The track was produced by Simple Boss Records and Dark Moon Records, who have been responsible for some of his previous releases. Staying in a Hotel room overlooking the city and gearing up to record music, Chxpz is aware of his position, and is not going to mess it up for anyone, or anything. He comes across fake friends, people who want to corrupt him and take him off his path, and people who wish for his downfall, but through it all he trusts the Lord to guide him, and stays focused everyday. At his age, Chxpz shares some gems that many should hold on to, and it stands out among the messages that have been circulating in today’s music. Chxpz has been enjoying a great year of music releases, only time will tell where he’ll elevate to as a Jamaican Artist. Keep watching!

With corruption and crime running rampant, it has left people seeking opportunities to leave the Island, and others having to go through various means to survive daily. Recording Artist Kxng Izem sheds a light on these and more in “Haunted“.

With a visualizer directed by Vartex Studio, Kxng Izem shares terrifying realities that is crippling the country. It may shock some who have seen Jamaica as this “Island Paradise“, but the residents living there haven’t been happy with the characters who are supposed to be making the country an ideal place to live and thrive. Kxng Izem shares his frustrations with comparisons of the nation’s state to that of Halloween, and the truth is, we need better leadership, and better opportunities for people to enjoy being here. “Haunted” was produced by Ten24 Music and JBeatz. Kxng Izem has been releasing content for a better part of this year, and is gearing up to release a new project soon.

This week, Dancehall Artist Squash’s name has been brought up in relation to a few shooting incidents in Florida. With rumours circulating that he was either shot or killed, he took to Social Media to refute those claims. While other outlets may produce content to keep his name circulating for all the wrong reasons, Squash is seeing red in the visual for “Flames In Ma Eyes“.

Directed by DirectorBadz, Squash finds himself in a very cautious mood. Tensions are rising high, and he has be on guard at all times. He has a lot to live for, and he’s not letting anyone try to get the best of him. “Flames In Ma Eyes” was produced by Hemton Music and 6ix Real Records. Squash’s life has experienced its share of pain and loss, and every turn he makes, he has to protect not only himself, but those who are important to him. While his name continues to be a topic of discussion recently, we hope things don’t go left, and better days come along.

Shane O Gets Deep In Thought In “Wrath” Video!

Dancehall Artist Shane O is a thinking Man. He is aware of his surroundings, and has at times reflected on his life, all that it took to get him here, and his daily experiences. A lot of his thinking has reflected in his songwriting, and on “Wrath“, he goes deeper in thought.

With a video directed by Frencho Film from Trinidad, “Wrath” is a collaboration between Shane O and Producer Countree Hype. Shot in Guyana during one of Shane O’s performance stops, the Deejay shares his experiences when it comes to dealing with friends. He has always been strong on loyalty, but some of the people around him think otherwise, and he is forced to reduce his circle, and be cautious of whom he shares his energy with. Shane O gives us some of his signature songwriting, and with the warnings shared throughout, listeners will find themselves pondering on a lot after listening. Shane O continues to stay consistent with the musical output, and is gearing up to connect with more of his fanbase locally, and Internationally.

Happy Oldies Sunday! For today’s selection, we highlight a Lyricist who is criminally underrated. A Man who has staying power, commanded respected, and has delivered every time. Some call him Jeffrey, but the world knows him as Agent Sasco. Before that however, he was known as “Assassin“, and we feature the track, “To Make Money“.

Produced by Troy McLean and Garfield Hamilton for First Name Music on the “Full Moon Riddim” and released in 1999 and 2000, “To Make Money” was one of Assassin’s first official music releases. Armed with motivation, he deejayed his plan to make the money. He shared his aspirations including having lots of fans, being the object of every Woman’s attraction, and becoming so successful that his funds will never cease. He makes emphasis however on getting to the money the right way, keeping his Brain sharp, and possessing superb lyrical abilities. Assassin’s “To Make Money” has a hit, making it one of the first few singles that placed his name on the map. “To Make Money” was one of the standout tracks on the “Full Moon Riddim” compilation, making way for Assassin to secure more hits in the 2000s.

Since the release of “To Make Money”, Assassin enjoyed a successful career as a member of Spragga Benz’s Red Square collective, and as a solo Artist. He was involved in a couple feuds, changed his name to Agent Sasco, was featured on GRAMMY-winning album by Kendrick Lamar and a GRAMMY-nominated album by Kanye West, released albums, secured corporate partnerships, is raising stars as a Father of 3, and was recently given the Order Of Distinction at the 2022 National Honours & Awards Ceremony. Assassin has come a long way, and “To Make Money” holds a special place in the hearts of many of his fans.
