It’s like it was just last week when we first heard of a Teenager who had ambitions of becoming one of Dancehall’s greats. It feels like yesterday when the same Artist said “2016” was going to be one of his biggest years. We’re in the year 2026, and Dancehall Artist Alkaline is one the genre’s biggest Artists, with a fanbase that is still strong. Since his debut in the early 2010s, he has become a contender amongst his peers, caused some controversy, scored hits, sold out concerts, and has maintained relevancy despite what was placed against him over time. Today, he shares his newest album, “NPT“.

Consisting of 16 tracks, Alkaline celebrates continued dominance, and a much-respected longevity  with the new album, “NPT”. Nearly 10 years since his critically-acclaimed debut album “New Level Unlocked” and nearly 5 years since “Top Prize“, we see an Artist who has experienced a lot on the new project. His musical style has shown some age, and he continues to cater to his fanbase, deliver for the ladies and the streets, and sends a word or few to those who are still praying for his downfall. His longevity is not a lonely one as some of his friends join him in the production side. From Sartout Records, to BlackSpyda, Gegodon, Sponge Music, and Armzhouse Records along with his Autobamb Records team, the sound is still strong throughout the album. Not many can stay relevant in this scene, and Alkaline has maintained quite a number of years. Some may try to detract, others try to undermine, but “NPT” when it comes to the “Detta Boss“.
