.@KingCruff Does It The Tuff Gong Way With “Rita’s Revenge”

Last year, Recording Artist King Cruff released his debut EP, “What Have I ‘Don“. The project was a big step for the Artist, and since then he has been working on bringing his brand to more parts of the world. The new year expects more content from him, and he’s fulfilling orders already. Earlier, he released the video for the track, “Rita’s Revenge“.

Directed by Ian Simon and Neil-Anthony Watson, King Cruff steps out for the family with “Rita’s Revenge”. Featured on his debut EP, Cruff gives the people a delivery that lets listeners know he’s gonna be here for a long time, and do his part in branching out with the Marley name. Taking cues from his grandparents, he’s not holding back in his lyrics, and the flashy visual highlights more of the creativity that we’ve been paying attention to. King Cruff looks to hit the road this year, and he will be making his debut appearance at the popular SXSW Music Festival this March in Austin, Texas. Roll with the Tuff Gong.

Bella Blair Has No Time For Love, She Has Dealt With “Too Many Boys”

February is almost here, and that means many will be looking forward to Valentine’s Day celebrations on the 14th. One person you won’t expect a Valentine from is Bella Blair. She has no time for all of that, and she’s getting ahead of everyone with the new single, “Too Many Boys“.

Produced by Kevon “Webbo” Webster, Bella Blair is over it with love, and she’s just doing her own thing and not caring on “Too Many Boys”. She has been down the road of love, and has been hurt there, so for those who think they can win her over, forget about it. She knows all the tricks and words to say, but she’ll reject you every time. You can have a lil fun, but there won’t be anything permanent, and she prefers it that way. Bella continues to show the world that she can still deliver on a song, and she looks to make a strong return to music this year. Expect even more releases later this year, just keep her out of the VDay convos.

OLDIES SUNDAY: Danny English – Wah Dis God (1999)

Last week, we received some sad news. The Dancehall Fraternity lost another member, Danny English. The Deejay lost his fight with Diabetes, and members of the public are currently in mourning. The Deejay was being active on the scene in the past couple years through live performances, and was planning to release a number of singles this year as a part of his comeback. Today, we pay tribute to the late Deejay with a selection on “Oldies Sunday“. Tune in to, “Wah Dis God“.

Produced by Steven Ventura on the “Latino Riddim“, released through the Mphatic! Label in 1999, and featuring Dancehall Artist Egg Nogg, Danny English shares some observations as people have been plotting and scheming on him as he found some success in “Wah Dis God”. He shares that since life has been looking better for him, people have been planning to rob him and cause harm to his family, but he is prepared for them, and they will meet their end in any way possible. “Wah Dis God” had some minor success for the Deejay, and was one of the tracks that built his momentum leading up to his biggest single to date, 2002’s “Party Time“. Armed with a gritty voice and sometimes tapping into a British accent, Danny English was one of the acts to know in the late 1990s/early 2000s.

Since the release of “Wah Dis God”, Danny English went on to release more singles, and perform in various parts of the world. He disappeared out of the spotlight for a number of years due to various reasons, but made appearances in recent times with live performances and new singles, and was gaining traction. On Friday January 24, it was reported that the Deejay lost his battle with Diabetes, and since then, there have been a number of tributes. May Danny English’s legacy be carried on by those who genuinely loved him, and may he sleep in peace.

Thank You Danny English For this Hit! Sleep Well.
