The Streets Are “Grimey”, But Valiant & Weekday Hold Their Own

Jamaican Producer Weekday has been elevating his game for quite a while, and every release gets better. A member of Tru Ambassador Ent.’s Next Generation roster, he has been keeping the hit factory busy with his unique sounds that compliment the lyrics of some of your favourite Dancehall/Reggae Artists. He has also crossed over into Corporate Jamaica by collaborating with a number of high profile brands. He continues to be one of the in-demand Producers out, and sets the standard with his latest collaboration with Dancehall star, Valiant.

Teaming up for the new single, “Grimey”, Weekday and Valiant deliver a song about ensuring everything that is considered important in life is on point and free from corruption while in the pursuit of achieving goals. Over some solid production, Valiant reflects on some of the days where he had to struggle, and shares that despite success now, some days will find him being cautious of his surroundings and who he shares his energy with, as there are forces in the world whose aim is to cause harm, and damage reputations. Weekday’s production drives the messages home to the listener, and assists in securing another hit for the Tru Ambassador Ent. catalogue, and Valiant’s Diplomats Records. A music video for “Grimey”, which was directed by Damaniac Visuals, is set to premiere along with the new single, and features an appearance by Weekday, and Actor/Director/Media Personality Cornelius Grant.

Weekday has been lending his unique sound to the Dancehall/Reggae scene for a number of years. As a member of Tru Ambassador Next Generation, he has collaborated with the likes of 450, Deno Crazy, Pablo YG, 1SkiMask, Mavado, and Alkaline among others. He previously released the “Quarantine” and “Tears Of Joy” Riddim Compilations, and is looking forward to following up with a new Riddim later this year.

Weekday and Valiant’s “Grimey” collaboration will be out on January 11 on all digital music streaming platforms. The music video for “Grimey” will follow shortly after the single’s release with a premiere on Valiant’s official Youtube channel.

450 & Valiant Hold The “Faith” In New Collaboration

They say when times get rough, you get rougher. With life having its share of challenges, it’s not always easy navigating through it, but some believe in a power greater than themselves, and they use it as fuel to move forward. Dancehall Artists 450 and Valiant have had their share of challenges, and even though they’ve acquired success, they still have to be aware of even more challenges out there. Together, like their new collaboration, they are holding the “Faith“.

With production by Tru Ambassador Ent., Lyledon Records, and Diplomats Records, 450 and Valiant share a few words on being above the madness, seeing people and things for what they are, and ensuring that they can make through the hard times when they are present. The Artists share their distinct sounds, and perform well over the production brought their way. They emphasize their messages through a music video directed by DaManiac Visualz, and it stars Trilla Milla, and Johnoy “TV Boss” Williams, who are dealing with their own challenges in the clip. 450 and Valiant have always delivered positive messages in their music, and their collaboration will resonate with fans and new listeners. Valiant Offers Motivation On “Dweet”

Life is hard, especially when you’re trying to achieve your goals. With all the obstacles life throws at us, we’re either made for the long haul, or we’ll fall by the wayside. It’s rough out there. For Dancehall Artist Valiant, he knows his share of struggles, and has overcome some of them in his journey as a Recording Artist. He looks to elevate those who are trying to make it out with his new track, “Dweet“.

In a video directed by KhingCam, Valiant is celebrating where he is in life, and reflecting on it took to get him there. Taking his crew with him overseas, the Deejay is seen luxury shopping, sharing with his crew, and showing viewers that success is possible if you want it. Since his breakout hit last year, Valiant has been consistent with the output, and his brand, fanbase, and streaming numbers have grown exponentially. “Dweet” was made to motivate the listener, and was produced by Young General Records/Diplomats Records. Jus dweet!

Valiant Remains Undeterred In “Beer & Salt”

Recently, members of the content creator/media world highlighted Dancehall Artist Valiant’s first performance in the US. Something that was to be applauded was met with public ridicule as the Deejay wasn’t captivating the audience as he should. These things happen to the best of them, and we believe he will win them over in future performances. Valiant remains as focused as ever however, and moves forward with the video for the new track, “Beer & Salt“.

Directed by KhingCam, Valiant uses the opportunity to clap back at the detractors, and those who pray for his downfall. Joined by a few friends including Jaii Frais and DJ Mac, the video showcases the gathering of friends for a good time, in between Valiant recording. “Beer & Salt” was produced by DJ Mac Music and Diplomats Records. With the year the Deejay has been having, one bad performance won’t slow down his progress. People will talk, let the success make them sick. Watch out for the Beer and Salt.
