Tina Hops On A Classic Dancehall Riddim For “Lover Man”

Dancehall/Hip Hop Artist Tina (fka Hood Celebrityy) has been busy with the music, and she hasn’t shown signs of slowing down. Whether she’s rapping, singing, or deejaying, she’s not playing around, and her numbers are going up. Keeping the momentum going, she goes old school on her new release, “Lover Man“.

Hopping on the classic “Action Riddim“, Tina shares her love for the Man who knows how to handle business in “Lover Man”. She shares the qualities that have her attention, and she has no problem giving him her all. She emphasizes her point with a Music Video that finds her dancing it up on a Yacht, riding on the Bike back, and strolling through the streets in her Corvette. For those unfamiliar, the “Action Riddim” was produced by Dave Kelly, and released in 1993 through his Madhouse label. The Riddim featured hits by Nadine Sutherland and Terror Fabulous, Carol Gonzalez, Buju Banton, General Degree, Wayne Wonder and Don Yute, Daddy Screw, and many more. Bounty Killa and Cham are Dancehall legends, and their contributions to the Jamaican music scene were not unnoticed. From hit singles to their influences since the 90s, their continued dedication to the music must be applauded. Two friends who once became rivals, they look to celebrate their connection in the best ways possible. It has been anticipated for some time, but it’s finally here. Tune in now to their collaborative EP, “Time Bomb“.

Featuring 7 tracks, Bounty Killa and Cham’s “Time Bomb EP” is a testament to their decades-long friendship. Their styles still compliment each other, and they deliver some of their best work on the EP. Featuring production completely by Dave Kelly and Madhouse Production, listeners will keep this one on repeat. Dexta Daps and Idris Elba join in on the great vibes, adding their unique styles to the project. Wa-Wow! Remember when that used to be the intro for Baby Cham? Well today’s entry comes from Cham himself and there’s no mention of his once famous intro. Titled “Lawless“, this is a song for the shottas, dons, bosses…you get the drift. Shot by Dennis Brown of V.S.M.P., Cham is shown along with an accomplice escaping the law while highlighting the various communities across Jamaica that shottas reside in his lyrics.
