Produced by Koastal Kings and featuring Reggae Artist Ras-I, Munga Honorable’s “Rastafari In Charge” is the song for those who need something different on the Playlist. The collaboration encourages a more militant mindset, further upholding of standards, unity, good meds, and a wave of positive energy. Rastafari is for the people, and more music like this is needed on the airwaves, and in the streets. The Summer has been welcoming a string of music releases that quickly connected with the people, and we can hear this one getting regular rotation throughout, and an official music video doing numbers. Munga Honorable & Bounty Killa Collaborate On “50 Caliber”

Any day is a good day for new music, and an even better one for solid collaborations. In a time where the people are tossing aside hurry come up Artists, the Vets are making solid moves. One of them is Munga Honorable, and he steps out blazing with the new single, “50 Caliber“.

Produced by Hilltop Records, Munga Honorable links up with the General Bounty Killa in, “50 Caliber”. The collaboration showcases two giants in their respective lanes, pairing solid lyrics with aggressive flows, and representing Dancehall to the fullest. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Terminal 4 Media, and it finds the Deejays in their element, while showing love to a number of their peers who are name dropped through placards. The collaboration drops ahead of Bounty’s return to New York on July 5, as the Deejay was granted a US Visa after being well over a decade away from the US market. Munga has been battling court cases this year, and hope things work out for the best. We look forward to more of these collaborations.

Back in June, we highlighted Dominican raised/Brooklyn based Artist Triszy and Brooklyn based Artist Jayy Lav’s single, “Pretty N Clean“ featuring Dancehall Artist Munga Honorable. The single has been doing well since its release, and there were plans in motion for a music video. Today, we get to show you that music video.

Directed by Yaad Boiiz Productions and shot in Jamaica and New York, Triszy and Munga get acquainted with some ladies on the Island, while Jayy Lav hangs with the crew, flash a lil money, and have fun with some girls. The song still brings that early summer vibe, and the video helps to amplify it a little more. “Pretty N Clean” has been getting some love worldwide, and we know the follow up singles will be bangers for sure. Repping St. James, St. Mary, Spanish Town, and Portmore, Runkus called up Kabaka Pyramid, Munga Honorable, Royal Blu, and Jesse Royal for “5Gs“! With a Mykal “Kush” Cushnie directed video, the quintet not only showed that they could join forces at this time, but display their prowess in the lyrical arts as they share social commentary on the happenings in the world today. This collaboration can only be described as one that’s “Badder than Covid 19“!

With each artist being dominant in their respective fields, this is just one of the few collaborations that we expect to see in the coming months. Covid 19 may have slowed things down, but nothing can overpower the strength and reach of the music.
