US Recording Artist Mýa is a music legend. For nearly 30 years, she has built herself an impressive resumé that highlights her career as a triple threat. She influenced generations of stars, and she stays being creative. Her love for Jamaica was never a secret, and she returned to the Island some time ago to collaborate with one of Jamaica’s music icons on the track, “Whine“.

With a music video directed by Josh Sikkema and Derek Brown, Mýa teams up with Bounty Killa for a track that will have the ladies dancing up a storm. If you need a lil help with the moves, a few familiar faces including Latonya Style, DaniiBoo, and Pata Skeng are in the visual to get you on the right foot. The DJ Hardwerk production finds Mýa and Bounty having fun throughout, and it continues to show that Mýa never lost a step. For those unfamiliar, this is not Mýa’s first time doing Dancehall, remember she has hits with Beenie Man, Spice, Jah Cure, and Ding Dong! “Whine” was hinted from 2021, and was announced earlier this year, to see the Artists on screen is a good look. Get ready to dance!

Brooklyn-based Recording Artist Alex Mali has been bringing together sounds that tapped into her Caribbean background along with Hip Hop, Pop, and other genres, putting together songs that connect with the people in a great way. We’ve featured her previously, and now she looks to make one of her biggest moves, and that’s releasing her debut album. Before that however, she gives us the new single, “Dance Now, Cry Later“.

Produced by The Breed, Alex Mali is stepping away from someone who didn’t do right by her, and would rather get lost in the music now than to wallow over it. She taps into some House Music vibes here, which comes at a good time as House Music influences have been making waves in recent months. “Dance Now, Cry Later” will be featured on Mali’s debut album, “Trust The Process“, and the project promises to showcase a lot of her influences and new sounds. UK Artist Nao is back on the scene, and is ready to give the people great music. She scored a number of hits over the years including “Another Lifetime“, and she looks secure even more with the help of upcoming releases. She taps into her Caribbean background for her new single, “Balance“.

Featuring Dancehall Artist Skillibeng, Nao gives us a high energy track about feelings and connecting with the right energy that will really have you dancing. Nao steps out boldly on this one, and Skillibeng comes through with some witty lines, and an attitude that will have the ladies reaching out. You can say she was chill with her delivery while Skillibeng brought the heat! The video was shot in Jamaica, and features a few Dancers that make us want to join in on the fun.  Nao is gearing up to release her best work since 2021’s “And Then Life Was Beautiful“. She promises to give listeners another side to her, and the sounds will have you keeping her on repeat. Skilli chalks up another big International collaboration. “Balance” was produced by Omega, Stint, and Nao, and released through Little Tokyo.

It’s Summer, the vibes is right, and there’s a young lady who is dazzling to the eye, and the center of attention. She is the inspiration for a new single by Haitian DJ/Producer Michaël Brun called, “Jessica“.

“Jessica” brings talents from the Caribbean which includes Michaël Brun and J. Perry from Haiti, Charly Black from Jamaica, and SAINt JHN from Guyana (Colombia’s own J Balvin co-wrote and performed, and Jamaica’s Izy Beats co-wrote on this as well). The song finds the Artists infatuated over a young lady named Jessica, and they express how she has affected them. The Artists combine great melodies and lyrics, and we know all the Jessicas will be acting extra every time this song is played. “Jessica” is featured on Brun’s upcoming “FAMI SUMMER” EP, which will be packed with a few more songs that will raise the temperatures. Brun has been active for a number of years, and has worked with many of his Caribbean peers. Where is the Jessica in your life?

Done in collaboration with Walshy Fire and Tempoe who provided great sounds, Voice delivers a track that will have couples dancing away this summer. The video, which was directed by Captain Plexx, finds Voice pursuing his love interest, and we see them interacting in various ways with a few dancing moments added. US Recording Artist Coi Leray has positioned herself to becoming one of the hottest acts to emerge on the scene in the past few years. With a few hits already, her place is secured, and she will continue journey to even more success. She adds to her growing discography with her much-anticipated new album, “Coi“.

The 16 track album features Coi Leray’s signature vibe and sound, but she tapped in a little on the Caribbean side when she recruited Dancehall Artist Skillibeng for the track, “Radioactive“. Produced by Johnny Goldstein, the uptempo track brings out rapid deliveries from the Artists, with Skilli sprinkling some of the E-Syde badness throughout. Skillibeng continues to keep his name relevant overseas thanks to live performances and collaborations, and on Sunday (June 25), he joined Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes on stage at the 2023 BET Awards. Congrats to Skillibeng on another International collaboration.
