PRESS RELEASE: @Savage1080 Signs With Dutty Fridaze Promotions

Savage aka Savo, born Simon Alex Daley had musical experiences at the juvenescent age of 11 years old and was a notable member of the choir at Olivet Seventh Day Adventist Church which he attended with his mother.

A past student of the St. Andrew Technical High School, Savo aspired to pursue a career as a Medical Doctor, however, music was to be his deft and mastery. Savo became a member of Mavado’s Gully Squad in 2009 and met his role model, mentor and musical stalwart in the Dancehall Reggae arena, Bounty Killer, a link made by fellow Recording Artiste, Flexx. His breakthrough came in October 2009 with the release of “Gully Christmas”, a single by Mavado featuring Flexx and Savage on the Christmas Riddim, produced by Stephen Di Genius.

In April 2011, Savo made the most pronounced move of his career when he signed to Jah Snowcone Entertainment, which is spearheaded by Rohan “Snowcone” Fuller, who is regarded as one of Jamaica’s most talented producers. Under Jah Snowcone’s guise and direction, Savo infiltrated the Jamaican music scene with “Mi Nah” on the Ital Stew Riddim, being one of his biggest hit to date.

Savo, with his varied styles and versatility, as well as exceptional and prodigious writing skills, has been making tremendous headway in the industry; his positive energy and upbeat personality has poised him into becoming a formidable artiste, writer and performer. With his new works, collaborations alongside artistes such as Spragga Benz, Mr. Vegas, Beenie Man and Chris Martin, to name a few, these will see him catapulting his way onto every Reggae chart and into the hearts of reggae music lovers.

Now, with the recent signing to top management company, the Vanclive “Fada Bulla” Parris owned Dutty Fridayz Promotions, Savo is expected to reach higher heights especially after recording several songs that have already made their way into mainstream radio and events.

Savo‘s latest tracks include “Culu Culu”, “Wine Up Suh”, “Bruk Bak”and “Weed Speech (Remix)”. Previously, he created a strong partnership with Frassout Records owner/producer, Milton “Frassout” Foster, consistently securing his spot on every riddim made and released by the record label. Hits like “Waiting For” on the Heaven Riddim, “Nah Gwan Well” on the Moscato Riddim and single “Top Shelf”, which was a collaboration with Young Flex PD, have seen incredible success.

There is many more to come from this versatile artist with huge crossover potential. Savo intends on being an immense influence on every market worldwide and sealing the deal with Dutty Fridayz is just the first step to making his mark on a global scale.

PRESS RELEASE: @ListenMiCarib News Signs On For Season Two With @CVMTV

The fast-rising digital media content start-up, Listen Mi Caribbean has officially signed on for Season two of ‘Listen Mi News’ on CVM Television. The programme was first aired online in 2013 to rave reviews and found itself by the summer of 2014 as a part of the World Cup Championship coverage on CVM TV. Its high ratings resulted in the network creating a permanent slot for the show on the station. Listen Mi News, in essence is a summary of current affairs or specific news topics delivered in the form of music and visuals. This concept made what many people found to be a mundane way of broadcasting the news, much more interesting and entertaining.

Recording artiste Bay C known for being a member of platinum selling quartet T.O.K. works alongside fellow Listen Mi Caribbean  Co-founder and music producer Icon, Reggae singer Chase and Deejay Hodari each week to deliver Listen Mi News. The company has since secured their place in history by producing the first programme of its kind in the Caribbean. Bay C said, “It was a concept that came out of a conversation with a friend on tour in Europe. I loved the challenge of it, the fact that it was never done before in this side of the world and also it allowed me to showcase my skills of making music around any topic. Once I returned to Jamaica I shared the idea with the directors at Listen Mi Caribbean, and the four of us as founding partners fleshed it out”.

As they prepare for Season two on October 16th, 2015, Icon promises to deliver more creative content. He shared, “I want Listen Mi News to be the Voice of the People so we will be visiting several communities and schools to give persons the chance for their voice to be heard”. Bay C added that the reason behind this interactive move is based on the feedback received from children and teenagers alike, sharing that ‘Listen Mi News’ makes the news more “appealing to the younger generation”.

‘Listen Mi News’ premieres on CVM Television on Fridays at 8:55 pm (immediately after News Watch) with repeats on Saturday at 7:00pm, Monday at 10:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday at 1:55pm and Wednesday at 6:55 pm.
