
Recently, Prodigal Son a.k.a. Prodi teased fans with his “April” campaign on his social media profiles. One of the first releases comes in the form of his “Never Leave” music video. Directed by Rayon Smith, Prodi is shown to be on a survival journey where he travels through forests, hunts for his meal in the sea, and giving praises to God as he states has not left his side. The single is off Prodi’s “Perfectly Imperfect From Kingston City” album that will be launched on April 24 at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Cross Roads, Kingston. After causing quite a stir lately where he removed the “Gospel Artist” title from his brand, Prodigal Son or “Prodi” took to Onstage to expound on his decisions and more. Here he spoke on the reaction from the public to his change, remembering when he wasn’t well received in the beginning of his career and not paying attention to backlash, getting more airplay and support from DJs and members of the Church, making more positive changes to his music, and future plans. Not a bad Interview here, he also performed new music. I respect Prodi’s move and I see nothing wrong here as he’s not adding lewd lyrics to the music.
