Speaking of drink, today’s selection is dedicated to a specific drink that was recommended if you wanted to have certain advantages in life. The Artist who made the song goes by the name of Fabby Dolly, and the track is called, “Peanut Punch“.

Produced by Anthony “Red Rose” Cameron and Anthony Malvo on the “Quarter To Twelve Riddim” and released through the How Yu Fi Seh Dat? Label in 1995, it was all about the “Peanut Punch”. Fabby Dolly shared that he had a way with the ladies, and his drink of choice aided him in becoming a hit among them. For those who needed the extra stamina when it comes to handling business, a bag juice just won’t cut it. Blend up some Peanuts along with some key ingredients, and you will have all the power. “Peanut Punch” was a popular single for Fabby Dolly, and it helped to increase the reach of the “Quarter To Twelve Riddim”.

Since the release of “Peanut Punch”, not much was heard from Fabby Dolly. He recorded more singles, but none connected like his hit. He made appearances on various pieces of content on Youtube and Social Media over the years, and some revealed that had fallen on hard times, and was experiencing Mental Health issues. He is on the road to recovery, and we wish him the best. “Peanut Punch” is still recognized today, and still gets played.

Produced by Vybz Kartel Muzik, Kartel has a few words for those who love to snoop in other people’s business. For those who enjoy spreading news and being a tattletale, it won’t end well for them. Kartel melodically delivers in this one, and shares the phrase “Walk and live, talk and dead” as a warning. In a society where there are platforms who thrive off of other people’s business, “Mind Your Own Business” may just encourage some to keep things to themselves, or maybe not. Out the gate he has caught the attention of many with his unique flow and delivery, and a lyricism that pits him among more established and older acts. Shot partially at Blue Adventure Tours in St. Mary under the direction of WVLNTH, Najeeriii drops lyrics about living the fast life, while interacting with a few of his peers.
