He taps into the R&B with a story of love that had strong beginnings, and endured some stumbles throughout. They may be on different paths at times, but Kartel knows she’s very special to him, and when they link up, it’s a moment in History. When the love is strong, two hearts will always connect. Vybz Kartel continues to build his post-Prison catalogue, and is still reeling off him collaboration with US R&B Artist Chris Brown for his recently-released “Brown” album. From Designer threads, to music streaming in the Millions, Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel has been gaining since touching freedom street. 2026 has  not seen him fall back, and we doubt that’s happening any time soon. All through the year, he’s bringing the “Onslaught“.

Released through Vybz Kartel Muzik and over Central Cee & JHus’ “Slaughter” Instrumental, the Vybz Kartel reflects on his wins, his milestones, and his continued elevation in the new single, “Onslaught”. For every “Mhmm” heard, he shares a win, and not many are at his level currently. The single comes after the announcement that Kartel will join Mavado at Reggae Sumfest 2026 for one night only for “Gaza vs Gully“. The announcement was needed as it was previously shared that the two will go on a “Gaza/Gully” tour starting in Malta, and it left Jamaicans upset as we all believed this tour should start at home. In some of our lifetime, we’ve witnessed the elevation of Vybz Kartel and Mavado, their feud, their reconciliation, and now their new partnership for a tour. Tonight (August 29) is setting up to be another historic night for Dancehall Music. Tonight, Vybz Kartel returns to the Barclays Center in New York for another staging of “Reggaefest“. The Deejay sold out the center twice before, and many are looking forward to him dominating the stage this weekend with his peers. Ahead of the event, he decided to surprise us with the release of the new project, “Heart & Soul“.

Featuring 11 tracks, Vybz Kartel celebrates Dancehall, and over a year of freedom with the new album, “Heart & Soul”. Kartel gives the ladies something to enjoy here with something to remind you of his status and what he has been through, and more importantly, a new collection of music for the fans. Fans will remember the days of “Street Vybz Rum” and its popularity, but the Deejay recently announced that he’s bringing back the liquor, but under a new name, “Str8 Vybz“. While it’s not officially out yet, he celebrates with the release of the new single, “White Rum (Special)“.

Released through Vybz Kartel Muzik, Vybz Kartel is in a drinking mood, and he invites you to get your cups up in “White Rum (Special)”. The new track gives fans a feeling of nostalgia, as he previously had hits that focused on liquor. He steps out with bold statements, enjoying the success he has amassed over the years, reflected on moments behind bars, throws shots as those who didn’t want to see his freedom, and shared that he is back to take over the place. Kartel melodically delivers in this one, and shares the phrase “Walk and live, talk and dead” as a warning. In a society where there are platforms who thrive off of other people’s business, “Mind Your Own Business” may just encourage some to keep things to themselves, or maybe not.
