.@PopcaanMusic Closes Out The Year With Surprise “Best Mood” Project

2023 was another year in the books for Popcaan. He continues to hold his own as a Dancehall giant, a the 2nd Mayor of St. Thomas, and of course a Minister of Tourism as he has welcomed many of the big names on the Island. He recently concluded his annual UnrulyFest event in St. Thomas, but he had a few more tricks up his sleeve. Closing out 2023 the right way, he delivers a surprise project called, “Best Mood“.

Featuring 15 tracks, Popcaan ensures his fans ring in the new year with some unruly hits on “Best Mood”. The Deejay previously released a couple tracks off the project, and we can expect additional content in support of it come next year. Fivio Foreign, Vory, Vybz Kartel, Shane O, and Chronic Law make an appearance, while the likes of Anju Blaxx, Dre Skull, and Attomatic Records lend their sounds to the project. If you were one of many who missed out on UnrulyFest, hopefully this makes up for some of it. Ending 2023 the unruly way.

Producer Countree Hype is ready for global domination. Having built a steady following with hits galore, he has his focus set on making the world get really familiar with his brand. He has lent his sound to the likes of Intence and Kraff which resulted in major hits, and with his new “Cosa Nostra EP“, he’s going up a few gears.

Shane O Deals With Wicked People On “My Last”

We have been there. We have been hurt by people we love, betrayed by those who said they’d never deceive you, and it continues to happen. Some have managed to move forward trying to stay positive, others have given up hope. Dancehall Artist Shane O knows all about this, and fresh off his Reggae Sumfest performance, he debuts the new video for the single, “My Last“.

Directed by KD Visualz, Shane O has had it with the wickedness mankind continues to display. The video finds him saving someone from being poisoned by a friend, and he shares his frustration throughout the Feel Good Boss Music production until he reached a boiling point in the end. The world is crazy, and filled with demons of various kinds. Look beneath the fake smiles, and stay protected.

Shane O Gets Deep In Thought In “Wrath” Video!

Dancehall Artist Shane O is a thinking Man. He is aware of his surroundings, and has at times reflected on his life, all that it took to get him here, and his daily experiences. A lot of his thinking has reflected in his songwriting, and on “Wrath“, he goes deeper in thought.

With a video directed by Frencho Film from Trinidad, “Wrath” is a collaboration between Shane O and Producer Countree Hype. Shot in Guyana during one of Shane O’s performance stops, the Deejay shares his experiences when it comes to dealing with friends. He has always been strong on loyalty, but some of the people around him think otherwise, and he is forced to reduce his circle, and be cautious of whom he shares his energy with. Shane O gives us some of his signature songwriting, and with the warnings shared throughout, listeners will find themselves pondering on a lot after listening. Shane O continues to stay consistent with the musical output, and is gearing up to connect with more of his fanbase locally, and Internationally.

The topic of “Jacket” has been a prevalent one from practically the beginning of time. Jamaica has been one of the countries that ranks high where this is concerned, and it has gotten messy when Men discovered that the child or children they have been supporting for years, is not biologically theirs. While there have been various motives behind this, the “Jacket” dilemma is still in business. Dancehall Artist Shane O tackles the topic on “7 Jacket“.

Directed by KD Visualz, Shane O finds himself in a questionable situation in the video for “7 Jacket”. Surrounded by 7 children, he attempts to solve the mystery of the Woman he has been involved with has been deceiving him all this time. He starts to notice the features of the children belonging to Men around his way, and it has been causing a headache. Shane O gets witty on this track, and the video shows the reality of the Men who have been recipients of the “Jacket”. It’s a crazy world out there.

The years that followed however found him not getting the right hits, and a decline in the buzz. Fast forward a few more years his name started bubbling back on the scene in the form of his songwriting contributions for a couple Artists which converted into hits. Capitalizing on that, he scored a few more hits on his own including the hugely popular “Partner Draw“.
