Supernova – 13th Street Promotions

2026 has welcomed a number of Riddims that found themselves fighting for the top spot. The latest one is the “Money Walk Riddim“. Produced by DJ Mac/Crash Dummy, listeners have been enjoying releases from a number of Artists, with other Artists seeking authorization from the Producers for their songs. Earlier today, Recording Artist Runkus didn’t care for the green light, and emerged with, “BanG“.

With no need for authorization, Runkus wields his lyrical blade, and calls out his peers on, “BanG”. He shares his displeasure in everyone saying the same thing in their songs (scamming/scammer lifestyle, mukkaz, having large amounts of money), calls out those who are faking it for fame, and chastising them for not using their talents for better things. He’s direct with it, keeps it clean, and speaks on what’s really going on in the world. Even without DJ Mac/Crash Dummy’s approval, the track will have its fans. Runkus has been one of the more lyrical acts, and come next month, might be a GRAMMY-nominated Artist if his “SUPERNOVA” album is included in the lineup for the Reggae Grammy category. Recording Artist Runkus has been brewing up something good for a while, and he’s ready for the world to indulge in it. Known for his unorthodox wordplay and a flow that always stands out, and his consistency in song creating has resulted in people moving their feet, and getting their knowledge up. He takes his music to a higher level with the new “SUPERNOVA” album.

Featuring 13 tracks, Runkus aligns with Bahamian Conceptual Artist, Tavares Strachan for the new “SUPERNOVA” album. A follow up to the well-received “IN:SIDE” and “OUT:SIDE” albums, Runkus returns with more thought-provoking content, and extends his catalogue that has been lauded by many. Stratchan’s involvement in the album comes in the form of its cover titled, “A Map of the Crown (Fulani Red)“, which was inspired by Eve, the first Woman of creation.

Production on “SUPERNOVA” features production from the likes of Prodj, RiddimBoss, Chopstix, KaleX, A Guy Called Purple, and Runkus himself, while Sean Paul, and vocals from the late Peter Tosh grace a couple tracks. The Lyricist returns to his arena with something powerful.
