Straight out of Lagos, Nigeria, is Hip Hop Artist, Phlow. Here she delivers a remix to her single “Reputation“. Produced by Teck-Zilla, this features the Rapper dropping bars over a sample, drum and horn assisted production. The samples however, come in the form of vocals from Recording Artist Barrington Levy, Reggae Artist Johnny Osbourne’s 1982 single “In Your Eyes“, and Rapper Lauryn Hill’s “Lost Ones“. Bringing elements of Reggae really made this single pop as the original featured a sample from Jay-Z’s “Where I’m From“.
