Today’s Monday for many, but it’s also known as the first day of a stressful week. There aren’t many fans of Monday in the working world, and the day has gotten such a bad reputation, that there were petitions to not make it a work day. Antiguan Soca Diva Claudette Peters shares the same sentiment, but she needs herself some time off so she can get back to being the Diva she is. In her words, she needs a “Mental Day“.

Produced by ChippyG and Brukway Production, Claudette Peters is stressed out, and she shares what she’d really like to do on “Mental Day”. With the Antigua Carnival season gearing up for a hot Summer, Peters wants to dance, get on bad, and enjoy life the way she should. Work causes many to be fed up, so having time off helps to give the person a chance to recharge, and with the way how our Mental Health has been over the past few years, we all need a break. In case you didn’t know, we’re still in “Cruff SZN“. King Cruff emphasized in our recent feature that he will release more music this year, and before you know it, there will be an album available. Still reaching out to new territories and ears, he has been finding success with “FallBack“, and “LINGO“, and now he’s taking the vibes to North America with, “Toronto Condo Girls“.

Produced by Circa Eleven and Tessellated and featuring Solo YT, King Cruff continues his journey in making music that will stand out. The Artists share their adventures in the big city, the Women they’ve come across, and overall secured another collab over solid production that will be on repeat. Cruff and Solo recently shared their “LINGO” collaboration that has been doing well, so “Toronto Condo Girls” will be another one for the books (Can we expect a collab EP from them?). A lot can happen in the big city, just be careful of the people you interact with.

King Cruff returns with new tings! After stepping out with “FallBack” recently with Runkus, he has been busy doing promotional runs, taking over stages, and building his brand. We chopped it up with him recently (now available here), and he shared that it’s “Cruff SZN“, and we’ll be getting plenty content throughout the year. Today’s a new day in “Cruff SZN”, and the new track is called, “LINGO“.

Produced by Aditya Eswar and featuring Nigerian-Canadian Artist Solo YT, King Cruff is aiming for the ladies with “LINGO”. Everybody needs somebody, but they have to come correct because there won’t be any begging for time, tolerance for bad energy, and no time to be treated like an option. In other words, we have to speak to same language, so let’s talk in our lingo. King Cruff delivers his message in a great way over Afrobeats-inspired production, and Solo YT steps in with a style that greatly compliments the track. Expect “LINGO” to find its way into plenty speakers in the coming days, and may just be an early contender for a Summer 2024 hit. Another Tuff Gong Collective release! When it comes to determination, there are many who are strong with it. When it comes to dreams and ambitions, some will do whatever it takes to achieve them. Nothing happens overnight, and your focus needs to be sharp in this journey. Dancehall Artist Kyoka has been working hard on her ambitions for a number of years, and she’s making it happen even when the odds are against her. She shares her determination in “I Can’t Lose“.

Produced by Zimi Records, Kyoka gets some things off her chest in “I Can’t Lose”. She recognizes her gift, and knows her talents will take her far, but the way how people and situations are towards her in her journey, she feels to walk away and focus on other things. If it wasn’t for the love of music and the belief in her talent, her dreams would diminish, and the greatness that we know her for would cease to exist. Kyoka provides relatable situations in her song, and there are many around the world who would give up, but there’s something about that determination that won’t make them quit. Recording Artist Yaksta is one of those individuals who wants his riches the right way, and he shares his ambitions on, “Rich A Morning“.

Produced by PotSink Records on the “Bread Crumbs Riddim“, Yaksta has his eyes on the prize in “Rich A Morning”. He pictures living in a Townhouse, he wants to take his family out of impoverished areas, he wants to generate wealth, even if it takes a longer time to make it happen. He believes in working for what’s his, and will not allow himself to be corrupted, nor will he go against his morals for riches. Yaksta has been steadily making good moves in his career, and they have resulted in hits singles, bookings locally and internationally, and a growing fanbase that supports his every move.
