.@Protoje & @StephenMarley Deliver “1000 Lashes” Visual

It has been a while since Recording Artist Protoje made that grand visit to Ethiopia. The trip was a part of his inspiration for his latest album, “The Art Of Acceptance“, and the content that followed not only captured his experiences, but highlight the beauty of the country. We get another glimpse in his latest visual, “1000 Lashes“.

Directed by SAMO and featuring Stephen Marley, Protoje speaks on generational trauma, exploitation, the need for peace, and a better world for our children in “1000 Lashes”. Produced by Winta James, T.Y. Jake, and Universvl, the track is one of the more-loved entrants on “The Art Of Acceptance”. The visual continues to share Protoje’s time in Ethiopia, highlighting the city of Addis Ababa, the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum, and even bringing it back home with shots of the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston. The visual along with previoius releases are definitely fueling the ambitions of many to visit the African nation, and connect with their roots. The Reggae Artist continues to bring the album to more parts of the world, and for those who wish to see him live, stay tuned for updates.

.@Protoje Goes For Number 7 With “The Art Of Acceptance” Album

Protoje is a hard worker, and that may be an understatement. For closer to two decades, he has been touring, performing, recording, and connecting with the world, and he’s still true to his role as an Artist. With a catalogue that’s revered globally, it’s a basically a holiday for the fans when he releases new content. With his new album, “The Art Of Acceptance“, it’s going to be a parade.

Consisting of 13 tracks, Protoje makes his 7th album a lucky one in, “The Art Of Acceptance”. The album finds him at his most creative, presenting a project that further cements his status as one of Jamaica’s greats. His lyricism continues to expand, and he shares not only his skillset, but knowledge for those who can pick them out. His sound continues to grow with this album, and his travels definitely brought inspiration. Production on “TAOA” includes the likes of Winta James, Ziah, Manu Digital, and Universvl, for his 7th body of work, he calls up Masicka, Shenseea, Jesse Royal, Stephen Marley, Pressure BussPipe, and Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, a collaboration that many hoped for since album one. Protoje may be older, and the music reflects on that, but his fanbase continues to welcome listeners of all ages. May this new release find you in great spirits.

Ahead Of New Album, @Protoje & @MasickaMusic Make Di “Ting Loud”

It’s getting closer to the release of Protoje’sThe Art Of Acceptance” album. The content released so far has been building up quite the anticipation, and this next collab is gonna cause (good) problems. Check out, “Ting Loud“.

Produced by Winta James/Ziah.Push/Manu Digital (with inspiration by Gussie Clarke?) and featuring Masicka, Protoje keeps the energy high as usual with, “Ting Loud”. With every album, he keeps a few high profile collaborations, and his Masicka has been a highly-anticipated one. When it comes to visuals, Protoje doesn’t disappoint, and with a music video directed by SAMO for Filmaica and shot in Jamaica and Adama, Ethiopia, we’re taken to the streets with the Bajaj drivers, and familiar spaces to congregate and enjoy in Kingston. It’s going to be a day when “The Art Of Acceptance” drops on April 17, and we hope you’re ready for it.

Ahead Of New Album, @Protoje & @ShenYeng Link Up For, “Goddess”

Protoje has been busy this year. From releasing music, to a sold-out Festival, to building anticipation for his new album, sleep must be missing him a lot. At the end of the day, the work continues. Ensuring the fans stay ready, he unveiled his new single, “Goddess“.

Produced by Winta James and featuring Shenseea, Protoje says it with his chest that he adores the Women in, “Goddess”. Protoje shares his interest in a Queen, while Shenseea knows who she is, but she’s heard it all before. Overall, this is a song that will definitely be a favourite in a collector’s Playlist. The Artists share some chemistry outside of the booth with a SAMO/Filmaica-directed music video, and we get a visual that could turn into a Film ready for the Theatre and Netflix slot. Protoje is getting things in order ahead of his new album, “The Art Of Acceptance“, while Shenseea adds another high profile collaboration to her 2026 list. This one is for the Queens, Empresses, and Goddesses.

Mortimer Gives Us A Visual For “Flowers & Flames”

Within the past couple of years, Recording Artist Mortimer’s time was filled with a number of performances, and he released music that locked in quickly with listeners. The past year also put his name in golden letters as his 2024 debut project, “From Within” was nominated for a GRAMMY for “Best Reggae Album“. Directed by SAMO, Mortimer puts his music on the screens again with the Visualizer for his 2025 single, “Flowers & Flames”. The visual is filled with warm tones throughout, complimenting Mortimer’s performance, and the flames that are present. “Flowers & Flames” quickly became a favourite for listeners, and if you’re in Jamaica, you can hear it being performed live at the upcoming “Lost In Time Festival” on February 28 at Hope Gardens in Kingston.
