It’s graduation season, and school leavers are looking forward to the working world, or take their education to another level. The summer will provide them a little freedom for some before new moves will be made, and they get a chance to release the stress that the past few weeks gave them. We’re taking the time out to big up all the graduates, the future is yours. Dancehall Artist Top Banks is also congratulating the grads, and he does so in the video for the single, “Graduation“.

Produced by Attomatic Records/Steel Chest Records, Top Banks knows it’s time to take things to another level in, “Graduation” (not to be confused with the previously-released “Graduation” produced by Steel Chest). The Deejay continues to entertain the people with his wordplay and delivery, and bring his signature vibes as usual. Yuh think it tek bwoy fi do this? With an accompanying music video directed by Ghost Studios/JojoInk Designs, Banks congratulates and sends off his graduates here. Throughout the video, he gives the grads words of advice, and we see highlights of fans who recently made the walk for their certificates. Time to turn up the temperature, and Trini Recording Artist Paris Coutain has an interesting proposition for the ladies for the summer. He has been releasing singles over the past few months that connected with everyone, but for the hot season, he wants to get closer to the ladies. He recently released the single, “Beat It“.

Produced by Bing Bang Studioz/Studio Impact on the “Rose Riddim“, Paris Coutain wants to have fun with the ladies in a manner of ways in, “Beat It”. He’s not being shy about it, and some ladies may react differently, but once the convos are had, it’s all fun from there. He channels ‘82 MJ a little bit for the OLSTP-directed Visualizer, and he finds himself chatting with his people before pursuing a lovely lady on the street. The “Rose Riddim” has been taking up space in the music scene, and we can expect “Beat It” to do some damage.

While DJ Blkluos handles the Afrobeats/R&B sound for the production, Shema amplifies the excitement that comes with romance with, “Lunch For Two”. The Summer is one for lovers, and the duo taps into that feeling associated with new love, exciting moments, and that undeniable intimate bond. Shema’s voice pairs well with the production, and you will be dancing along to this one. The single is accompanied by a Visualizer directed by Powell Clubega, and Shema is seen getting close with his love interest. Malaïka Teams Up With Kickraux For “Déjà Vu”

Music is always the right answer, no matter the question, and it’s a mood enhancer. When there are Architects of the sound like Kickraux, expect nothing but good vibes. While he has lent his sound to various genres, when he taps into Reggae, it’s a surreal vibe. He’s always tapping in to various cultures and Artists, and recently he connected with a songbird named Malaïka for her new single, “Déjà Vu“.

When it comes to love, things may go well, and not so well, and in “Déjà Vu”, Malaïka can see ahead where the direction of the relationship will go. She has had her experiences, and while new beginnings can be beautiful, familiar feelings and recurring actions can be triggering, or lead to the possibility of something better. Malaïka dabbles in some Reggae sounds here, and adds to Kickraux’s growing catalogue as he has been working with a number of Artists in Latin America. With a Mexican and Haitian background, you can stay tuned to this songbird as she continues to elevate her sound, and expand to new markets. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Ryvesh, and we see what looks like the start of a great relationship from a chance meeting, but it didn’t play out that way in the end. It’s a new week, and you can start it with love. What better way to usher in the love than to release new music? Nigy Boy is here to make even more happen this year, and is working on taking over the summer. He’s in a loving mood, and he released the new single, “We Belong Together“.

Produced by Silly Walks Disco on the “Double Trouble Riddim” and featuring US-based Recording Artist Kaylan Arnold, Nigy Boy is all about that love that is as important as air and water in, “We Belong Together”. The Singers are great with words, but when it comes to that special person, they get tongue-tied, and are overwhelmed with the love that is present. The easy-going track finds the duo at some of their best, and for the couples building and maintaining their love, this track is the right choice. They come together for a fun visual directed by Mirko Polo, and we look forward to them performing this live in the future. Silly Walks knocked it out the park with this one.
