@KaciFen Becomes Brand Ambassador For @Fonterra’s “Mainland Say Cheese” Campaign!


Fonterra, the world’s largest exporter of dairy products, has announced that Miss Universe Jamaica 2014 Kaci Fennell is the new Brand Ambassador for its Anchor and Mainland cheeses distributed in Jamaica by World Brands Services Division.

A self-proclaimed ‘foodie’, the Jamaican beauty that was fourth runner-up in the Miss Universe 2014 Competition, has built a strong reputation for her cooking talents, having participated in several celebrity chef competitions. Speaking on the partnership, the beauty queen who favours the brands’ ‘Tasty Cheese’ said  “I am so excited to represent the Fonterra brands, my mother is actually a chef so food is something I’m very passionate about and I’ve actually been a long time user of the brand”.

Marketing Executive of World Brands Services, Mrs. Tania Christie, is excited about the partnership.  She stated, “Kaci will play a critical role in creating and developing the brand’s strong consumer relationship.  We look forward to her bringing her own vibrant personality and uniqueness to the brands.”

This Brand Ambassadorship will feature Kaci in upcoming Anchor and Mainland advertising and marketing campaigns. She will also make special appearances at upcoming events. Fennell’s first official appearance representing the ‘Anchor and Mainland Say Cheese’ campaign was at the 18th staging of the Jamaica Observer’s Table Talk Food Awards on May 26, 2016 where she joined the Anchor and Mainland Chef in whipping up dishes for patrons to enjoy.

The summer activities will be abuzz with Fonterra and Kaci as she imprints her pivotal mark in increasing the social reach of the brands and driving new customers and awareness to the line of Fonterra’s cheeses sold on the market. Slated to appear in a number of live cooking demonstrations across various locations including supermarkets and corporate entities, the ‘Mainland and Anchor Say Cheese’ Campaign will educate and wow consumers to the versatility of the line of products.

Giannii “Gone A Lead”!


Fast-rising recording Artiste Giannii kicks off his musical campaign with the single, “Gone A Lead”, accompanied by a music video. The single was produced by Street Block Records and released last month. “The feedback has been positive. That is very humbling and gratifying for me,” said Giannii. The single has received favourable airplay from radio stations, locally and across the Caribbean.

“I have been getting a lot of requests for dubs and jingles for this song, and I just want to say thanks to those who support my music and help me to bring my talent to a wider audience,” he said. The video was shot and directed by RoadBlock Films in Montego Bay and Kingston. From Kingston 17, the hard-working and talented Artiste is focusing on targeting audiences with his music and creating a household name in the music Industry. “My style varies, and I sing a little bit of everything,” he said.

Giannii is in the studio working on singles such as “Work Fi Yuh Dream” and “Everywhere We Go” for Sweden-based Record Label, Sound Bank Music. He is also working on projects with Konsequence Muzik and Team Kronik Production.

Actor Johnoy Williams Signs To Ellis International!


Jamaican Actor Johnoy Williams is reaping the rewards for his hard work and dedication. The young Actor is pleased to announce that he has been officially signed to Ellis International, spearheaded by Owen “Blakka” Ellis. Williams has been working under the tutelage of comedian duo Ity and Fancy Cat for some time now and is ecstatic that he has sealed the deal to officially become a member of this elite group.

“Words can barely express my contentment at this moment! Trust me, I’ve have been working at my career for years as an actor and for now to be represented by Ellis International, is a dream come true.” Said a very excited Johnoy. The 25 year old knows that even though this is a big deal and has come a long way, he still has a lot more things to accomplish. “I know I have come a very long way from my Get Tested Commercial to, being in Nick Cannon’s “King of the Dancehall movie but I still have a long road ahead of me.” With that said, the Actor looks forward to a few upcoming works both on the local scene and on the International scene.

The Actor also wants to encourage everyone out there with a dream to be in film to never give up their dreams. “Even though there is room for growth in our Jamaican film industry, I believe that we can make this industry strive to its maximum potential. @SingerFabian Tells The Truth!


With an increase in publicity stunts being used to market music, Cashflow Recording Artiste Fabian feels the need to tell his truth. His new single produced by Psy-en-tiz from New York titled ‘Truth’ is recorded by Fabian’s Alter Ego. Fabian said “Yes, I have an Alter Ego, for a while now I have been Fabian the Singer but there is the side of me that can deejay and command attention too”.

The Artiste who has quite a few controversial lines in the song has indeed been garnering attention. A line from the singles states, “Alkaline a run Dancehall an we all know a di truth dis… how teacha fi run Dancehall being incarcerated…”. Fabian explained “I respect Alkaline and I appreciate seeing an underdog come to the forefront and dominate and that’s exactly what he is doing”.

Fabian, known for his collaboration with Digicel Rising Star Winner Tash in 2011 titled ‘It’s In the Books’, has been receiving mixed reactions to the single ‘Truth’. He said, “Some people love it and others are offended by some of the opinions I share in the song but this is who I am and my opinions are simply mine”.

The young Artiste also added that he would like to see media embracing more talents and shining light on the successes of these young talents. On a lighter note, Fabian released yet another song called ‘Nah Give Up’ on the ‘Psalms 91 Riddim’ which was produced by Cashflow Records which speaks to remaining positive no matter what the circumstances may be.

@DonAndre “Jogs” To Success!


British sensation, Don Andre is currently on a high with his number one single, Tom Cruise. He has now released his highly anticipated follow up, “Jog”. The video premiered on VEVO with over 50,000 views within its first 24 hours.

Don Andre is thrilled with the reviews being received for his new single. “Jog is already in full rotation on TV and radio. Fans have been uploading clips doing the new dance move and I am truly grateful for the support,” he said.

The “Jog” music video was directed by Damaniac Visulaz and shot in location in Cherry Gardens, Jamaica. Don Andre plays the role of a Gardener who throws a house party as soon as his boss departs for vacation.

Cameos came from familiar faces: MC Nuffy, Heavy-D and child actress, Journey Jewels from the cast of Nick Cannon’s upcoming Jamaican movie.

Don Andre came to prominence via his remake of the Shabba Ranks classic, “Needle Eye”. His breakthrough single, “Tom Cruise” is undeniably one of the most popular selections locally since the start of the year.

He is booked to appear at Reggae Sumfest, Dream Weekend, Club Amazura (NY) on July 1st, as well as the YMZ concert at the National Stadium alongside “Whip Nae Nae” singer, Silento and Disney star Ross Lynch.
