In 2023, Dancehall Artist Najeeriii earned his spot as one of the year’s best Dancehall Rookies. Having scored a number of popular singles, 2024 was looking to be an even bigger year for him. Hits came early that year, but got a small setback when his Youtube Channel was reportedly hacked in the late Summer, and his content was made private. When things got fixed, he ended the year with a number of singles including “1Rifle“. Ready to dominate again, he’s finalizing his debut album, “Book Of Bob“. Before that, he unleashes his “1Rifle Cliptape“.

Featuring 23 tracks that’s mixed by Travis Chromatic a.k.a. TravDaawg and 9 extra tracks that won’t be found on Streaming Platforms (yet!), Najeeriii gives the fans something special before the new album with the “1Rifle Cliptape”. The project features new music, remixes of previous releases, and he even hops on a few Hip Hop beats. Pantason, DethWrld, Catalog Music Group, YC Studios, and Franc White are just some of the names who produced on this project, while Rajahwild, KMan, Chronic Law, and Moovements join in on a number of songs. The 2020s saw the rise of the 2nd generation of Trap Dancehall. Whether you say “Trap” or “Chop“, these Artists put the spotlight on the lifestyle, delivered a new sound that quickly built a movement, and gained recognition in various parts of the world. Ymo G is one of those Artists, and he has been consistent with his music from the beginning, with a fanbase that continues to grow. He takes the music to the next level with the release of his debut EP, “Vengeance“.

Featuring 6 tracks and released through Zombih Ent., Ymo G joins the growing list of Trap Dancehall Artists to give the people a packaged form of their music with the “Vengeance EP”. The subject matter doesn’t stray from the Women, the vices, the money, and the fast life, but Ymo G does his part in further building the “Trap/Chop Dancehall” catalogue for the world to consume. His sound doesn’t hide in this project, and YoDelliDem and Trxpskull Records provide some dark production for this soundtrack. He also shares his stage with Meelo and SVM, who also shed light on the Trap lifestyle. “Vengeance” makes way for more releases from the Artist, and we know he’s busy working on them for later distribution. He has been entertaining the public for years, and Prince Guava has yet to see a time where he will stop. The Manchester-based Social Media Personality/Recording Artist has been busy these past few months. When he’s not putting together Comedy Skits, he’s securing brand deals, and releasing new music. Speaking of music, he has gained a following with his previous releases. For 2025, he will deliver some “Energy” with new EP.

Featuring 10 tracks, Prince Guava gets the party started with the “Energy” EP. With his selection, he’s turning up the vibes, and throwing in a little Comedy throughout. He may not be as lyrical as some of the Dancehall greats, but he will win you over with his personality, and get you moving. Steel Chest handles production throughout along with Prod.Carterr and Sky Bad, and he brings along Manchester-based Dancehall Artist X-Kappe along for the vibes. The “Energy” EP is an exciting start of the new year, and you should pay attention to Guava.

Dancehall Artist Vanessa Bling had the Jamaican music scene in a chokehold with her singles over the years. While she may not be as prominent locally as before, she is doing damage overseas thanks her live performances. She aims to flood the streets with new music, but before that, she wants to make statements. Recently, she made the big step with the release of the “Truly Gifted Riddim“.

Released through Vanessa Bling’s VB Records, the “Truly Gifted Riddim” boasts an All-Female lineup for a compilation that will have the people talking. Bling dives into the world of Music Production, and calls on Tifa, Pamputtae, D’Angel, Marcy Chin, and Suspense to join her in the new takeover. The ladies brought their A-game on the new Riddim, and they show a unity that’s not always present in the Dancehall scene. With a new Riddim comes promotion, and Bling and company plan to take it on the road with a series of live performances, with dates and locations to be shared in the future. The “Truly Gifted Riddim” looks to take its place as an important production like “Gal Click Riddim“, which was produced by Spice and released in 2013. Let’s see what 2025 has in store for more Female-lead productions.

December we’re here, and that means Christmas is around the corner. There will be plenty to be festive about, including new music! Production duo Circa Eleven are getting involved in the festivities this time around, and they have a new EP for the holidays. It’s time to update your holiday playlists with the new “Peppa Lights” EP.

Featuring 3 tracks, the lineup of Recording Artists Gio Mar (son of Wayne Marshall), Jay YGT, and Rizk are celebrating a “Dancehall Christmas” with Circa Eleven on “Peppa Lights, Vol. 1“. What started out as a conversation during a TikTok live about the need for some Dancehall-themed Christmas music this past November, quickly turned into a series of recordings from a number of Artists. When approaching the creation of the EP, Circa wanted to pay tribute to classic Christmas music on the production while the Artists shared their own prospectives when it came to Christmas music. On “First Christmas“, Gio Mar shared his need for his special person for the holidays, on “Holiday Time“, Jay YGT sought to rekindle some lost love for the season, while Rizk was in a festive mood as he parties away on “Jolly Dolly“.
