You’re also gonna need some new music, and Dancehall Artist Maestro Don is here with something new in the form of the single, “Nigeria”.

Released through JVO Ent., Maestro Don passes through with something for the ladies on, “Nigeria”. Over Afrobeats production, Don shares his interest in the ladies who know how to keep his attention, and he desires to go on adventures with them. He delivers some raunchy lyrics here, but he’s all about having a great time, and giving the ladies unforgettable feelings and memories. Maestro Don gave listeners a couple ways to enjoy the new single, the original version, and the Amapiano version for those who need to turn up the tempo. Something for the ladies from the Don.

No matter what’s going on in Dancehall, don’t count out Alkaline as he’ll drop a new track. While a certain “Boss” is enjoying life right now, Alka is keeping his fans happy with content. He’s always on the mission for success, and he has lofty dreams in, “Blanco”.

Produced by A Jus Di Vybz Music/AutoBamb Records, Alkaline has his eyes on Millions in “Blanco”. With his lady by his side, he wants to conquer more, make multiple bucket lists, acquire more things in his name, and while he has money, he’s looking for more. The track’s title pays homage to the late Griselda Blanco, the late Colombian Drug Lord who was also known as “The Godmother“, and her mission was to climb to the top, reaping success, and ensuring that she did everything that she said she would. Alkaline may have people thinking that he’s laying low, but he’s just waiting for the right time to surprise that world. Maybe money buys happiness.

September 15 kicked off “Hispanic Heritage Month” in the United States. Hispanic Americans made significant contributions from entertainment, to sports, to pop culture, and we highlight a number of them on Oldies Sunday. Today, we check out Dominican American Singer Prince Royce and his single, “Corazón Sin Cara“.

Produced by Andrés Hidalgo, Sergio George, and Eduardo Aguilar, Prince Royce’s “Corazón Sin Cara” was released through Top Stop Music in 2010. The Bachata track, which is translated to “Heart Without A Face/Love Is Blind“, was aimed at Women who dealt with low self-esteem, reassuring that it’s not about what they need to wear or how they need to look to someone, as love and attraction to someone is for the most part attributed to their true self, the morals they possess, and there is someone who will see the best in them in every way. The materialistic part is ok, but not the be-all and end-all. The track quickly became a hit for Royce, enjoyed placements on the Billboard US Latin charts, and Latino charts in Venezuela, and between its release and early 2011 was the most requested Latin single on US Radio. The track was featured on Royce’s self-titled debut album, and went on to go Gold in Italy, and 26x Platinum in Latin America. He also released a “2.0” version of the track for Amazon in 2022.

Since the release of “Corazón Sin Cara”, Prince Royce enjoyed a successful career that secured various awards, selling Gold, Platinum, and Diamond records, dabbling in TV/Film, and became of the more successful Latin Artists. “Corazón Sin Cara” remains his signature song.

Dancehall Artist Blak Ryno deserves his flowers. Since the mid 2000s, he has made significant contributions to the Portmore Empire/Gaza brand with a number of hit singles, and a presence that inspired many. Though no longer a part of the camp, he kept himself afloat with singles and live shows over the years, and secured a fanbase that continues to support his every move. He’s solid with the lyrics, and he gives the people more to think about with the new track, “Mankind”.

Produced by Kahtion Beatz and released through Steamatic Records, Blak Ryno observes the ways of people in the new “Mankind” single. He shares experiences, and listeners can relate to the lyrics as we’ve all dealt with people who didn’t have good intentions. For every girl song, or something for the streets, Ryno ensured he had a track that shared life lessons, motivation, and prompted listeners to be more aware of the challenges one will experience in life. Our newest selection comes from an Artist who has been working on his craft for a number of years. Llyell is affiliated with echoB3ats Productions and a number of Artists, but he has been making noise since the early part of 2020. He has been working on a follow up to his 2021 “Pressure Drop” Mixtape, and now you can tune in to the “Comfort To A Fool” Mixtape.

Featuring 6 tracks and released through echoB3ats Productions, Llyell gets active with the bars on his “Comfort To A Fool” Mixtape. He dabbles in a few topics throughout the project, hopping on a few popular Hip Hop Instrumentals like Kanye West’s “Back To Me”, Lil Yachty’s “A Cold Sunday“, Future’s “This Sunday”, and Freddie Gibbs’ “God Is Perfect”. Llyell gives listeners a quick showcase while he preps more music to drop in the coming months. For those on the go, he has also presented a straight mix version in collaboration with DJ JoshEra.
