The ongoing relationship with Dancehall Music and the Trap Music sub genre of Hip Hop seems to be a promising one. He recently spoke on his debut project stating that it’s his way of bringing a unique sound to the game, showing listeners that he can be versatile in subject matter, and aims to stand out not only in the Jamaican Hip Hop scene, but worldwide.

It’s…Addi Di Teacha along with TSD! Yes, you read that right, Rapper The Sickest Drama has a song with the “World Boss“, Vybz Kartel. Titled “Never Back Down“, the track was produced by Inztinkz and features the lyrical Artists going at it bar for bar. Expect the usual flipping lyrics from the Word smiths, and expect to be blown away as the First Coast Movement and the Portmore Empire join forces! Jamaican Hip Hop Super Group The Council, which comprises of Five Steez, Inztinkz, Nomad Carlos and The Sickest Drama, is currently working on the “Nothing Else Matters” Album. With over a year since their debut single and a few weeks since their 2nd single, they aim to hold over fans with their 2 track EP titled “Forgotten Parables“. Produced by Inztinkz and featuring Arofat, Julio Sluggz and Wallabee, the Group explained that these songs were made years prior to the formation of the Group and it was only right to set them free and show listeners that it was written for them to work together exclusively. “Nothing Else Matters” sees a 2017 release but for now, check out the EP below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Dropping a new tune today is Canada based Rapper, Solyd Roy! Titled “Cruff Daddy“, the Kingston born Rapper shows listeners what he can do over this head banging Production. While he brags a little on the track, he also showcases his ability to handle the beat and let you know that he’s someone to watch out for. “I feel like this song was just me reintroducing myself to the HipHop scene as best as possible. I obviously had fun writing and recording the track, but at the end of the day, I just wanted the song to paint the perfect image of who I am musically,” said the Rapper. As the Hip Hop movement continues to rise in Jamaica, many members have taken it across the seas and even influenced other emerging and established acts.
