GullyGad

From the Gully side to the world, Mavado stopped by Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club“. Here he spoke about his single “I Ain’t Going Back Broke“, collaborating with Vybz Kartel and how their beef divided the Dancehall scene, his feud with Bounty Killa, making hits locally and overseas, celebrating a 10 year career, his incident at Philippe Chow, working with Jay Z, giving Charlamagne advice and more. Interesting Interview and a big one for Mavado. When I see Dancehall/Reggae acts on the Breakfast Club, it’s a good feeling. Big up the Gully God. NEW VIDEO: @RealIOctane – Hurt By Friends

Octane friends

A single that has been a popular one on Troyton Music’s “Intoxxicated Riddim” has finally gotten the visual treatment. That single is I Octane’s “Hurt By Friends“. Directed by Bling Blang Productions, Octane shows us scenarios where people have been betrayed by their friends all while sharing his own stories and warns us of “fake friends”. A great visual from Bling Blang as usual and a solid single from I Octane. Octane has been working pretty hard to get new material out and has no intention of slowing down. BusyS

Taking a page out of Shaggy’s book is Dancehall artist Busy Signal. Starting his own foundation, he aims to help the people of St. Ann, his birth parish. Recently he spoke with Onstage TV’s Jason Williams about it and more. Here he spoke on his “Helping Hands” foundation and the progress so far, setting up a benefit concert, aiming to expand it to other parishes, encouraging more people to follow in his footsteps and contribute, and working on new music. A noble effort from Busy Signal, I do hope it gets the well needed support to help communities for a very long time. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @LattyJWorld – Bumpa

BumpaLa

This goes out to all the ladies with a large derriere! After premiering her music video on Hype TV, the public can now watch Latty J’s “Bumpa“. Directed by Terminal 4 Media, this was shot at an undisclosed location, a garage and the Palisadoes Strip. In the video Latty gets ready to hit the airport with her friends (A preview of “Teenie” was featured), while making their way to their destination they met in an accident and the only way they could rectify the situation was to thrill the motorist with their bumpers. Lots of booty shaking in this one, and the single is a fun one to listen to. If I was the Police Officer who came all the way to the strip on a bike only to be turned back, I’d be pissed. Look out for more from Latty J this year. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
