Things Get “Dark Dark” In New Chronic Law & Laden Collab

It’s about to get crazy. Dancehall Artist Chronic Law continues to keep the Studios in business thanks to his consistent release of new music, and we have yet to see any form of slowing down. The year has been a fruitful one for the Deejay, and with a recent cosign from Vybz Kartel, his name will be mentioned even more. Earlier, he released the video for the single, “Dark Dark“.

Produced by Eastern Entertainment on the “Fully Dark Riddim” and featuring Dancehall Artist Laden, Chronic Law brings the guns out in “Dark Dark”. The “Law Boss” and “Senty King” trade war-ready bars, and let listeners know that when the time calls for it, they are locked and loaded for anyone who dares to step into their circle with bad intentions. Thanks to direction by G Team, we get a Music Video that finds the Deejays emphasizing the badness, and everyone has a tool, even the Video Vixens (Popular Vixen Zho makes an appearance in this as well). A collab we didn’t know we needed, we hope we get to hear more from Chronic Law and Laden in the near future.

Germany-based Production collective Jugglerz recently released their new project, “Jugglerz Family“. The project is a compilation of their many collaborations in Dancehall, Reggae, and Afrobeats, and an extension of a catalogue that has scored a number of hits over the years. Earlier, they released the visual for their Blvk H3ro-guided track, “Low Key“.

Directed by Jaakko Manninen, Blvk H3ro takes center stage in “Low Key”. He shares some of what keeps him motivated in life, makes observations, reflects on some episodes of his past, and ensures that he is protected so he can make the necessary moves for what’s important to him. You know his name, but many don’t know his story. Blvk H3ro has been making steady progress this year thanks to new releases and live performances, and he aims to show face in even more countries in the future. Jugglerz’s new “Jugglerz Family” album is expected to connect with many more in the coming months, and more content in support of it is on the way.

The Summer ends in a couple days, but Dancehall Artist Nigy Boy wanted to end it with a bang. He has been delivering hits all year, and acquired a few achievements and high points along the way. He’s due for a few more hits, so he stepped out with the video for the single, “Active”.

Produced by Carey Villa Records, “Active” finds Nigy Boy enjoying life to the fullest. When Nigy parties, there’s no stopping, and he has to be in the company of good friends, and beautiful Women. According to him, even when he’s old, the party won’t end. With a Magus Productions-directed Music Video, he throws a Pool Party, and everyone is having fun. From swimming laps to popping bottles to dancing, Nigy has an energy that is contagious. Life was meant for living, so get active like Nigy Boy.

Dancehall Artist Armanii ensured that he had the ladies singing for the better part of this year, but he still has to make something for the streets. Having one of the year’s biggest singles is no easy feat, and he has been rewarded well for it, and secured plenty bookings. Recently he took his talents to Canada for live performances, but took the time out to put together a Music Video for the new track, “Pan A Shot“.

Directed by The Knemesis, Armanii stays posted with the crew, and is ready for whatever in the “Pan A Shot” visual. In a time when the opps can be right around the corner, one has to be prepared to handle situations. We all love food, some more than others, but there’s nothing like a meal that’s yours to enjoy. Whatever your style and taste, food has been there more than people in some cases. Food is enjoyed on a different level according to Dancehall Entertainer Grampa Entatain, and he talks about it in, “Food Specialist“.

Featuring Dr. Planks, it’s all about the good food in Grampa Entatain’s “Food Specialist”. Grampa enjoys a variety of food while Planks leans more into the Ital way of life, but they know what’s important when it comes to putting in work in the Kitchen, and they and whoever they feed will be satisfied. For those unfamiliar, “Food Specialist” is a remix of Vybz Kartel and Beenie Man’s 2004 hit, “Breast Specialist“. The track was produced by Tony Matterhorn and Mario C on the “Scoobay Riddim“, and is given new life in 2024 thanks to Grampa Entatain. The track is accompanied by a Music Video directed by Clevamix Recordz, and it finds the Artists cheffing up a number of dishes, and feeding the household in the end. Grampa Entatain has been active with a number of original music and remixes over the years, and has been a hit whenever he’s called up to perform. This one is for the foodies. Yaksta has been bringing his “22” album to more people this year. With new content coming out in support of it, he’s taking care of the fans until he announces his sophomore album. He has been busy on the road too, and his live shows continue to garner praise, and a demand for more. Until he hits the road again, he gives us a visual for the much-loved track off the album, “Conscious Badness“.

Featuring Chronic Law, Yaksta gives the fans a visual fitting for the “Conscious Badness” track. The track was produced by Black State and Bush Music, it’s a meeting of the minds and a clash of strong lyricism, and with a visual direction by Divine Global, the Artists take it to the community, and bring out their warriors. Yaksta has secured a number of high profile collaborations over the years, and his “22” album packed a number of them. The “Law Boss” and the “Bush Lawd” are believed to have a few more collaborations in the vault, and we can’t wait to hear them. From St. Mary, to St. Thomas, to the world!
