It’s been over two years since the release of Recording Artist Protoje’s “Ancient Future“, and it’s still a banger! What’s your favourite song off of it? Still wish it won a Grammy. If you’re a viewer of the hit FOX TV series Lethal Weapon, then you might’ve heard a familiar song from the Artist in their latest episode. Kicking off the first 30 seconds was the first single off the 2015 Album, “Answer To Your Name“! Produced by Winta James and Lewis Planter, Protoje went into storytelling mode on this one and had influences of Ska throughout the Production.
Lethal Weapon is a TV series based on the popular “Buddy Cop” Comedy Movie franchise which stars Comedian Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford. The Movie starred Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Titled “Don’t Come Back” and released through Vybz Kartel Muzik, Addi gives us a different flow this time around as he ridicules ungrateful women, having nary a problem with a woman as he still can get whichever one he chooses, declaring himself as the “One Don” and should have a holiday in his honour, and further exhibiting that he is one of the best out there. Fresh off the Video premiere of “Girlfriend” with Busta Rhymes and Tory Lanez, we know some new collabs are in the works for him. No long talking, get familiar with the new Kartel below!
