On May 8, we featured Chase Soundz on “13th Street Quarantine Sessions“. On that episode, he previewed an upcoming single, and today we give you “The Scrivener“. Produced by LethalNeedle, Chase revealed that the track was inspired by the short story “Bartleby, the Scrivener“, which was written by American Writer Herman Melville. Throughout the track, Chase gets busy as a Master Writer with the bars, and has no problem in giving the beat a whipping.

Episode 6 of our “13th Street Quarantine Sessions” is a showcase of bars tonight as Texas based Jamaican Rapper Chase Soundz is ready to go! Tonight, he gives us a performance of one of his upcoming tracks called, “The Scrivener“. For quite some time, Chase Soundz has been giving listeners his blend of Hip Hop/Dancehall, and looks to be one of next big voices on the scene. Montego Bay has been going hard with the upcoming talent as of late on this Blog. It goes to show that no matter where you’re from, if you have the skills, you have to showcase it. Today, another Mobay rep adds to the list with the release of his debut EP, and he goes by the name of Chase Soundz. Presenting his “Yaadman Hiatus” EP, this is a 10 track project that features love, Montego Bay, and everyday life with Chase’s triumphs and struggles. The project also boasts Production from the likes of Yondo, Cookin’ Soul, RockStar JA, Thundaa, and verses from Daley, CRB, and ChavDaRhymer.
