Recently, Rapper/Chef Action Bronson visited Jamaica for the very first time. Known to show his appreciation for the cuisine and culture in his music, Action made various appearances in some parts of the Island including the first NyamJam Food Festival. Here he tried various Jamaican and Jamaica inspired treats and spoke with some of the locals. An Artist who I’ve wanted to visit Jamaica for quite a while, it’s bad that I never got to meet him. Canada based Deejay Razor B aims to be the hottest act you need to know. With a hot single creating a buzz in the Dancehall circles, he stopped by the Onstage set to speak on his career and more. Here he spoke about his singles “Hot Up” and “Up In Deh“, balancing a music career and a Culinary career, being an independent artist who produces on the side, and more. He, along with the help of some dancing ladies, premiered the “Hot Up” single and the dance of the same name. Good to see Razor B doing his thing and taking it from the Kitchen to the stage. Anthony Bourdain is a man of the world. A former Chef, Author and Media Personality, he has dined in various places, embraced cultures and hung out and shared a vibe with just about everyone. In his new program “Parts Unknown“, he visits Port Antonio, and parts of St. MaryJamaica. No stranger to the Island, he gets down in the cuisine at various eateries, visited world renowned places such as the Trident Hotel and the Golden Eye Resort, and interacted with Billionaire Michael Lee Chin, former Record Producer Chris Blackwell, Actor Carl Bradshaw, Music Exec. Jon Baker and his wife Nordia Witter a.k.a. Dancehall artist Coco. There’s a lot to learn in this episode as we get a little history lesson and current event discussions, and experiences as Anthony drinks and eats to his heart’s content and gets a few sights. The Mento Band was really a great fit to this episode and much different to the Dancehall or Reggae music we’d hear in other programs. NEW VIDEO: @ActionBronson x @Munchies – That’s Delicious Ep. 2


ABToday’s new video comes from the Rapper Action Bronson and Vice’s “Munchies” series. Titled “Fuck That’s Delicious!“, this is a Vlog that features Action’s culinary taste during his travels. A trained Chef prior to pursuing music, he starts off the video prepping one of his dishes for himself and friends. The video gets more interesting when he takes a trip to “Clive’s Cafe” in Miami Florida and exclaimed his love for Jerk Chicken, Curried Chicken, Oxtails, Patty and Coco Bread and Ting soft drink. He also gave praises to the Restaurant for their culinary skills. Further in the video he and his crew stopped at a BBQ Restaurant in Pennsylvania and expressed how the meal made him break out into the “Butterfly“, which was very popular in Dancehall circles. He also checked out meals in other places throughout his video and gave a tutorial in a couple of his meals. Fans of the rapper and Jamaican cooking will love this one.
