
Today’s Oldies Sunday selection pays tribute to one of the legends of Reggae Music, the late Dennis Emmanuel Brown. DJ Mucho, along with Earthquake Intl. Sound and Prodigy Movements present “The Promised Land (Tribute To Dennis Emmanuel Brown)“. This mix highlights some of the hits that the “Crown Prince of Reggae” created and even clips from some of his interviews over his rather lengthy career. From a child singer to an influence to future artists, Dennis Brown was always a top act with his commanding delivery and lyrics. On International Reggae Day not only do we celebrate Reggae Music, but celebrate the lives of many who contributed to the genre. One artist who is celebrated today is the late Dennis Emmanuel Brown. Known as the “Crown Prince of Reggae“, Dennis Brown was a top tier Reggae artist who created beautiful songs that captured the hearts of many and influenced many upcoming artists. Having passed away on July 1, 1999, I use today to highlight one of his many concerts.
