Canadian Producer/DJ BlkLuos has been busy cooking up some new music for your speakers and earbuds. Known for working with underground Artists and prominent names, there’s no change of that this year. With a collection of projects to his name, he is bringing some heat during these cold times with the 2nd installment in his “Winter Edition” Mixtape series.

Featuring 10 tracks, DJ BlkLuos brings together some of the best emerging talent out of Toronto, New York, and London. Handling all of the production, BlkLuos brings out the best out of these Artists which include Love Boat Luciano from the Griselda/Black Soprano Family, frequent collaborator 333Zilla, the late Heartbreak Quotey, and promising UK Artist Tabz. If you’re familiar with DJ BlkLuos’ work ethic, expect a lot more music from him throughout this year, with some of the best emerging Artists. Bundle up with these hot tracks, it’s cold out there!

Known for providing visuals highlighting Jamaica’s beauty and happenings in Jamaica, Down Di Road JA (We were featured with them in this 2018 Global Grind article) has been carving their own lane, and gaining a following in the process. 3 years ago they kicked off their “Down Di Road Live” series that featured many upcoming and established artists on the scene, and now they look to do something different. Stepping to the turntables, Down Di Road JA released their debut mixtape, “Cruise Control“!

Hosted and mixed by Down Di Road JA’s founder, Duane “Doofy” Phillips, the Fusion Mixtape provides over an hour of tunes from some of your current and future faves, and promises to entertain you for as long as you want. What makes this mix stand out even more, is the experience as accompanying the mix, is a Visualizer that is a collection of Down Di Road Live performances and content from over the years. Rémar Draws Inspiration From The Past For His “90’s Flexx Mixtape”!

The Guyanese boss Rémar is back with some new music! After dropping various releases including one of our favourites “On My Way“, he turned on the Time Machine, and went back to the past to give us the “90’s Flexx Mixtape“!

Loaded with 6 tracks, the “90’s Flexx Mixtape” was done in collaboration with Producer Kincomarco as they rip through 90s classics, and blended them with modern sounds. From Ini Kamoze, to Brandy, to the Bookshelf Riddim, Rémar and Kincomarco make beautiful flips, and bring along guests David Lyn and FlyGuy for more fun. For all the 90’s buffs and old school music fans, let this Mixtape be in regular rotation for you. Some good music to add to your quarantine playlists!

Chase Soundz has been staying consistent within the past couple years. Having dropped track after track, he’s still working his way up to becoming one of the respected lyricists out of the Jamaican Hip Hop scene. He takes a big step today with the release of his debut EP, “BearWithMe“.

Loaded with 4 tracks, Chase Soundz is still dropping clever bars, and tackles unique production from D’Artizt, Blu Majic, blutop, and Brokeboi. As a member of Heightz To Greatness (HTG), he recruits a feature from Daley who didn’t disappoint with the bars. A taste of what to expect moving forward from Chase Soundz project-wise, you might hear him tackling Dancehall/Reggae sampled production on the next go around.
