The DJ has been steadily taking up a sizable space on the scene lighting up many events with his juggling, and securing the support from many. Jamaican Artist Wilwa is on the verge of becoming a name in Dancehall that will cause a stir. We have been spelling her name for many years, and Dancehall Artist Tifa is still going strong. While she has been through a few things over the years and considered retirement at one point, she continues to show that her dedication to the music and her place as an important figure in Dancehall were not in vain. She aims for more, and can still hit you with some good music. She recently released her latest single, “Greetings“.

Produced by longtime colleague ZJ Chrome, Tifa makes a grand entrance on “Greetings”. She reminds listeners that she’s still one of the baddest Artists out, her presence is a gift, and she is as bold as ever on the microphone. Many have come before and after her, but there is only one T-I-F-A. Chrome’s bouncy production gives the lyrics some oomph here, and Tif fixes her crown and gives us the royal speech. There aren’t many like this hitmaker, and she has a lot more in store, so stay tuned. Say hi to a bad b****.

Legendary UK MC Giggs has been busy this year. Having racked up flyer miles from connecting with many of his peers around the world, performing in various places, and promoting his new “Zero Tolerance” album, he has been making a lot happen. With more ears taking in the album, Giggs continues to drop more content including the music video for the track, “We Nuh Fraid“.

The Jazzwad-produced “We Nuh Fraid” features Popcaan, and together they trade slick bars, and further solidify that Unruly/SN1 connection. The Face Xpression-directed music video was shot in Tivoli Gardens, Jamaica, and it finds the Artists hanging out with their crew which include Toronto Artist Pressa, and Jamaican Rapper BakerSteez. This past summer, the Jessicas of the world gained some extra confidence thanks to the release of the single “Jessica” by Michaël Brun, SAINt JHN, Charly Black, J. Perry, and J Balvin. The track did very well with the public, and was featured on Brun’s “FAMI SUMMER” EP. The song showed that when it comes to making hits, the Caribbean is elite in that department as various Islands represented for a summer hit. Brun wants to take it to another level with the release of the “Jessica (Island Remix)“.

With Michaël Brun (Haiti) behind the boards, we get the familiar hook of the original version of “Jessica“, but on the “Jessica (Island Remix)”, we get verses from J. Perry (Haiti), Charly Black (Jamaica), and the Soca legend, Machel Montano (Trinidad & Tobago). Skeng returns with new music that will surely cause a few sparks to appear. He has been electrifying stages lately with his high energy, and this time around he’s gonna give listeners a few jolts through his latest single, “Shak“.

Produced by Zimi Records/Jiggy D Entertainment, “Shak” features Jigsta and Kaka High Flames, and with Skeng they bring a high-powered single that will have everyone dancing. With Skeng’s aggression, Jigsta’s commanding vocals, and Kaka’s dancing vibe, expect this single to send shockwaves in the streets, charging up speakers everywhere. The Now Or Never-directed video finds Jigsta and Kaka playing the roles of JPSCo workers, while Skeng can be found dodging them as he’s commits the act of Electricity theft a.k.a. “bridging light“. While the video promotes a shocking new dance movement, they also shed light on the risks involved with stealing electricity, and JPS’s role in attempting to eradicate the practice in various communities. While it’s not ethical, that’s how many people get by, but if there were solutions that would encourage less of these acts and life made easier for the households, then they need to implement them now. New music from Skeng and the gang!
