Since March 2025, we premiered a new weekly Playlist called, “What’s On 13th Street?“. Since then, we have featured over 900 new songs from Artists in and outside the Caribbean. If you were a user of Social Media platform Vine back in the day, you may be familiar with Destin Conrad and his content. Since blowing up on the platform, he has gone on to be a Recording Artist with a string of successful singles, and award-worthy projects. Raised in Florida, he was born to a Jamaican Mother, and identifies as a Queer Artist. Speaking of Jamaica, he has shown love to the Island in a manner of ways over the years, but with the release of his new album “RoadRunner“, this may be the best way he has ever done it.

Featuring 13 tracks, Destin Conrad pays homage to the sounds of Jamaica and more with his 3rd studio album, “Road Runner”. Conrad taps into themes of love and relationships, and throws a party or few throughout. From Reggae and Dancehall prevail throughout, and we even hear a few familiar samples (including a classic from T.O.K.). Production on “Road Runner” includes the likes of Universvl, Kaytranada, Louie Lastic, Wavey, Dimmlak, Dan Forte, Don Mills, and Andre Harris, while Stalk Ashley, kwn, and Amanda Reifer show up on a couple tracks. Destin Conrad represents hard with his new album, and shows that when it comes to music, inspiration is everywhere, and one should never be limited.
