Masicka Celebrates Birthday With “Trophies”

Today, Dancehall Artist Masicka celebrates an important day, his birthday. He has solidified his status as a Dancehall legend under 40, and this year has opened up many doors to great opportunities for his career, and life. Life is the greatest thing, and he reflects on, “Trophies“.

In a video directed by Ruppi for Now Or Never, it’s a celebration in Masicka’s “Trophies”. The video finds him in the Studio putting together his song while recognizing his recent achievements. The video later moves to him delivering some of his plaques to his Grandmother, and highlighting “Lil Sicka” who has ambitions for success like him. The “Lil Sicka not only symbolizes the Deejay’s sons wanting to follow in his footsteps, but the young fans who look up to him like he did to various Dancehall legends in his childhood days. Masicka followed through on his dreams, and all that has happened for him is a part of his destiny. May the Deejay have many more years, and may his new year be filled with more blessings.

Masicka Remains Dominant In “Who Fi Stop We”

Dancehall Artist Masicka hasn’t been sleeping, he’s very much active. Still pushing his “Generation Of Kings” album to new markets, the Deejay continues to elevate his game, and expand his presence. He has a lot more in store, but in his new single he asks, “Who Fi Stop We“?

Produced by VAS Productions, Masicka addresses the world from the podium in “Who Fi Stop We”. He maintains his dominance throughout, shares his ambitions, and emphasizes his focus on the track. From the money, to the Women, to the spoils of his work, he’s not stopping until he gets it all. Masicka Pulls Up To The Streets With “20 Matic”

Summer’s here, but Dancehall Artist Masicka has been preparing some heat to give to the public. With his “Generation Of Kings” album still making its rounds, it’s only right that he keeps the people busy with new material. He kicks off the Summer with, “20 Matic“.

Produced by Dunw3ll, Masicka is ready to dominate with “20 Matic”. Still sharp with the lyrics and flow, the Deejay is giving the fans a taste of what’s next for his music. He takes it to the streets with a Music Video directed by Shane Creative, and no matter where he is, his presence is felt, and the energy doesn’t shift. The video features a few flashy rides, familiar faces, and of course some lovely ladies to further enhance the visual. Expect the “Genahsyde Boss” to make a number of appearances in the coming weeks, and “20 Matic” will be keeping the fans busy.

His sophomore album “Generation Of Kings” is still getting a lot of love from the public, and more doors are being opened for him as an International Artist. He’s not slacking off, and there’s plenty more content on the way for us to enjoy. He follows up with the visual for the single, “Reverse Time“.

Directed by Shane Creative for Now Or Never, Masicka maintains his kingly stance in the video for “Reverse Time”. For over a decade, Dancehall Artist Masicka has grown from an upcoming Artist, to a young legend in Jamaican music. 2021 saw his career elevate to a new level with the release of his debut album, “438“. The critically-acclaimed project quickly built up anticipation for a follow up, and the Deejay promised to fulfill the request in due time. He announced his signing to the iconic Def Jam Records this past Spring, and went straight to work. Today, the finished work has arrived in the form of the new album, “Generation Of Kings“.

Featuring 17 tracks, Masicka looks to deliver another classic with the release of “Generation Of Kings”. Making his major label debut with Def Jam Records, the “Genahsyde Boss” is ready for the takeover. The Deejay gives us his usual great music for the ladies, the Gangstas, and the yutes here over solid production, but shows the listener that he has matured a lot in his career. Production include the likes of Dunw3ll, Mozeeko, Boi1da, and Fortune. Like his previous album, he brought along a few friends including Spice, Dexta Daps, Lila Ike, Chronic Law, Popcaan, Fave, and Fridayy. The conversation has already started about “G.O.K.” possibly being better than “438”, and while we won’t contribute to that, we encourage you to celebrate another milestone from an Artist dedicated to his craft. 1Syde till the land slide.

The Def Jam-signee has fans anticipating the follow up to his debut album “438“, and with support from the historic label, we can expect a serious rollout if done right. New content from Masicka is always good, and earlier he shared the visual for the new single, “Limelight“.

Directed by Ruppi for Now Or Never, Masicka finds himself in the hills away from the rest of the population. Taking the time to relax, reflect on good times, and realign his focus, we also get a few highlights of him taking the stage, and connecting with the people. The deejay gets busy in the hills until he gets a message from his people, and we see him suiting up like an Assassin who’s called up for a contract kill. Ready for the new SZN of the Genahsyde Boss?
