Dancehall Artist Masicka is a King. Not a Burger King, but a Dancehall King. Having solidified his name for well over a decade in Jamaican music, he put in the work to be where he is. Despite beefs, controversies, and jeers from detractors, he found the balance with hit singles, International deals, National recognition, and a number of accolades. He has a right to take the Crown, and his 3rd album “Forever Reign” looks to maintain his stance.

Featuring 17 tracks, Masicka charges with authority for his new “Forever Reign” album. No crazy rollouts, no unnecessary methods for attention, just solid. music, and a showcase of Dancehall excellence. Like his previous albums, he has something for everybody, from street singles, to something for the ladies, to motivational music. The years have passed, and his growth in Dancehall is evident, with his sharp lyricism intact. Production on “Forever Reign” includes the likes of Attomatic Records, Dan Sky Records, Dunw3ll, Dre Skull, and Di Genius, while he shares the stage with Kraff, Lila Ike, Nigerian Artist Blaqbonez, and Damian “Junior Gong” Marley. The people crown him King, and while there are many in this league, he makes his place at the throne.

A new Masicka album is on the way! Come August 14, the world will be in tune to, “Forever Reign“. The Deejay is in his element, and fans have been anticipating his next moves. Having previously released singles, he keeps the momentum going with, “Spend“.

Produced by Attomatic Records/Dan Sky Records and released through Def Jam, it’s all about making the dollars work in Masicka’s “Spend”. He keeps it fun here, as he talks about spending a few dollars on the ladies, as he basks in the good life. What’s a few bands when you’re worth Millions? Masicka is in “Money Power Respect” mode, and gives us another preview of what to expect in the new “Forever Reign” album.

For the past few weeks, Dancehall Artist Masicka has been a trending topic. Why you may ask? Well, he was at a war of words with fellow Dancehall Artist Tommy Lee Sparta, with some shots sent at Vybz Kartel’s way. With fans debating who is the true winner, the 1Syde boss took a break out of the war to give the ladies something special for the holidays. He has presents, and the ladies can unwrap his new EP, “Her Name Is Love“.

Featuring 8 songs, Masicka is keeping the ladies heated with the new EP, “Her Name Is Love”. For his decade+ career, he also made sure have a few anthems for the ladies, and this project is a dedication for them. Released through Def Jam, production includes the likes of, Gray Toomey, Otis, Lily Kaplan, Manmade, Boi-1da, and Rvssian, while Rapper Lola Brooke joins Rvssian as the guest features. War time is war time, but when it comes to the ladies, everything else gets put on pause. It’s a 1Syde Christmas.

Masicka Gears Up For Album #3 With “Keys” Single

Sound the alarms, the latter part of 2025 is getting critical. The Titans in Jamaican music have emerged with new product, or have made announcements about it. Earlier today Chronixx launched his first album in 8 years, and now Masicka is stepping out for album szn. The Deejay has been a part of the discussion for most of this year, and it looks like he’s ready to dominate again. He’s readying up for album #3 with the release of the single, “Keys“.

Produced by 1Mind and Westen Weiss and released through Def Jam Records, Masicka steps out for the ladies with, “Keys”. While he always has a street single ready, he continues to capture the ladies with his charismatic flow, and smooth energy throughout the track. What’s a Masicka single without a high quality music video? Directed by Shane Creative and featuring Model/Rapper Chinese Kitty, Masicka takes it to Portland for his visual. We get a series of great shots, and one would feel rich watching them as the Deejay sets up for what might be his best project and rollout in his decade+ career. The upcoming album has not been named, but the fans await as the anticipation grows. 1syde till the land slide.

Co-Produced with MOMBRU, Fridayy has his eyes on a Woman who stands out in “Baddest In The Room”. For over a decade, Dancehall Artist Masicka has grown from an upcoming Artist, to a young legend in Jamaican music. 2021 saw his career elevate to a new level with the release of his debut album, “438“. The critically-acclaimed project quickly built up anticipation for a follow up, and the Deejay promised to fulfill the request in due time. He announced his signing to the iconic Def Jam Records this past Spring, and went straight to work. Today, the finished work has arrived in the form of the new album, “Generation Of Kings“.

Featuring 17 tracks, Masicka looks to deliver another classic with the release of “Generation Of Kings”. Making his major label debut with Def Jam Records, the “Genahsyde Boss” is ready for the takeover. The Deejay gives us his usual great music for the ladies, the Gangstas, and the yutes here over solid production, but shows the listener that he has matured a lot in his career. Production include the likes of Dunw3ll, Mozeeko, Boi1da, and Fortune. Like his previous album, he brought along a few friends including Spice, Dexta Daps, Lila Ike, Chronic Law, Popcaan, Fave, and Fridayy.
