Jamaican-born/Florida-based Producer/Musician/Recording Artist Kris-Karz continues to push his music to new listeners, and build his production game. Throughout the year, he released new music, and has been working on a new project for release in the coming weeks. Recently, he enjoyed music placements with popular American Magazine, Architectural Digest, and this week he celebrates new placements with the renowned Ebony Magazine.

Ebony Magazine, since 1945, has provided a monthly lifestyle magazine that highlighted News, Culture, and Entertainment, with focus on some of the best African American names in Sports, Music, Film, Politics, and Fashion. They launched a series called “Beautiful Black Homes” that featured unique homes owned by some of your faves, and for their recent video, they highlighted the home of Actress Meagan Good. The 6 and a half minute video showed off some eye-catching Interior Design along with well-liked Architecture, and the tracks “Energy” and “Reciprocation” from Kris Karz. The Instrumental versions of “Energy” and “Reciprocation” were released in 2021 and 2022 respectively, and were included in a project called, “Portraits“, that wasn’t fully released.

Kris-Karz, born Kris-Anthony Smith in Manchester, Jamaica, is the founder of Kngly Studios, and its main Producer and Recording Artist. He is also the mind behind the Youtube Acoustic series, “Kngly Live”, which provided a platform for Recording Artists and Musicians from South Florida and surrounding areas to showcase their talent. He has produced for a number of local and overseas-based Artists, and has performed at a number of events in Miami, Atlanta, and northern parts of America. As a Recording Artist, he has released singles such as, “LUST”, “Heartbreak”, “Text Me”, “GUSH”, and more recently “Safe With Me”. He is currently finalizing a number of releases for 2025.

Malii Alli Reflects On The “Good Ol’ Days”

Life is full of experiences, and some tend to become memories that hold special places in our hearts. Recording Artist Malii Alli holds some memories close, and at times she yearns to return to those moments. She shares her thoughts on that in the video for, “Good Ol’ Days“.

Directed by LCRJ Media, Malii Alli reflects on times long gone in, “Good Ol’ Days”. Taking it to the beach and river, she looks back at some times when life was a little better, the love was stronger, and happiness was present. Today isn’t the best, but she believes the days will get better, even though they won’t be like the yesteryears. She can be found singing by the river, and even interacting with a few people at the beach, bringing a positive energy throughout. “Good Ol’ Days” was produced by WhiteBlackzMusic, and was released in 2023. Last week, Dancehall Artist Devin Di Dakta got people talking with the release of the single, “Truth Hurts“. The track highlights corruption and demoralization in society, and calls out a number of individuals who he believes have contributed to the decay. He was bound to follow up with more, and he did so earlier with the official Music Video.

Directed by Shot By Ramon, Devin Di Dakta takes it to the Detective Room in the video for, “Truth Hurts”. He tackles a number of topics, and his board highlights a number of individuals who he shares his truth about. While many will only focus on certain aspects of the song, he also speaks about the number of unfortunate events that have happened to the Jamaican youth in recent months, and he delivers in his own way with no care for the feelings of those who have made their negative contributions. This video will be a part of many more conversations, and Devin will be around to handle feedback, and opposing arguments. This is his “truth message“.

Prince Saj Takes Gospel Music In A Fun New Direction With “God With Us”

When it comes to Gospel Music, it has birthed a number of people who have played vital roles in bringing their audience closer to Christ. There have been numerous iterations of the Gospel sound, and they have each won over their audiences, and strengthened the genre. In Jamaica, the Gospel sound expanded to Reggae and Dancehall, with some acts taking it to higher levels, but its reception met negative pushback by many in the Church as they prefer the “old fashioned” style of the music. Enter Saja Smith a.k.a. Prince Saj, an award-winning Gospel Artist who believes in bringing people closer to God by utilizing the sound the Lord permits him to use. He is the founder of the “Fully Jesus” movement, and has been steadily spreading the Gospel with numerous singles over the years. He believes in impacting the nation with a refreshing, vibrant sound which is available for all with the single, “God With Us”.

Produced by DaJourney, “God With Us” is Prince Saj’s way of spreading the truth to the world. Saj’s image is not one that readily identifies him as a Christian to some, but God speaks through him, and it’s emphasized with this song. Many tend to believe that dressing up in suits, fancy hats and dresses make for the right attire for the Churchgoer, but the song shares that it’s not about what you present yourself in that makes you a Christian, it’s about your intentions, belief in the word, and actions. The song is readily available for people of all ages, and tastes, and highlights an individual who takes God everywhere he goes and is quick with the word of God. Prince Saj ushers in a new wave of Christian music, and he invites everyone to join in and spread the Gospel.
