With his name being mentioned recently for the feuds he’s involved in, Konshens stops by Onstage to clear the air and address his detractors. Here he spoke on his situation with Masicka and shared his reasons for their split, discontinuing his Konz 876 brand and unveiling a new brand in 2015, K Swiss, his feud with Demarco, wanting to see a clash with Masicka and Demarco, and his absence in the Dancehall circles. In the wake of this “Sting Season“, the news of Masicka parting ways with Konshens raised questions and of course choice words. Tonight Masicka aims to clear the air on the split and more with Winford Williams. Here he spoke on the events leading up to the split and not dissing Konshens, his “Loyalty” track, Sting 2014 and his willingness to clash with any artist, his feud with Demarco, his thoughts on Alkaline and Gage, and upcoming performances. Not a bad Interview, Masicka said a lot here and I’m looking forward to his gig at Sting and just maybe a little clash with Demarco. NEW MUSIC: @MasickaMusic – Cyah Frighten We (Demarco Diss)

With his name being mentioned during a war of words between Konshens and Demarco, Masicka did what any other artist would do and hit the recording booth. Aiming at Demarco is his effort titled “Cyah Frighten We“. Produced by Razzle Music, the Young General threw dart after dart at the “Puppy Tail” Deejay and makes it known that he’s not afraid of him. He also paid respect to other well respected lyricists in Dancehall. With Demarco and Konshens’ battle somewhat swept under a rug as of late, would a new one with Masicka be something to look forward to? With recent news of his departure from Dancehall artist Konshen’s Subkonshus camp, lyrical artist Masicka released a song. Titled “Loyalty“, he explains his reasons for leaving and lets everyone know that he’s not out to disrespect anyone and would rather work on his career. Today’s music comes from a “Three The Hard Way” combination of Deejay Masicka, Singer Shanique Marie, and Muscian Addis Pablo. Titled “Lighters” and produced by Equiknoxx Music, we hear Masicka deejaying about wanting a better life and celebrating it rather than suffering. Shanique handles the hook duties and Addis Pablo gives us a dope Melodica solo to help further channel the “Bird Sound Power” of Equiknoxx Music. A nice selection here which could seem odd to some. Mixtape Movements: @EquiKnoxx_Music x @KabakaPyramid – DubPlates In Dub

Titled “Dubplates In Dub“, Kabaka pays tribute to the Jamaican Sound System culture by recording 6 original tracks and freestyles over Channel One instrumentals. Following in the same steps as the “Equiknoxx Introduces Masicka To King Tubby” mixtape, this is sure to bring the new and old generations together.
