Yesterday the Blu Rok members Vindon, Hard Dayz, and Cill Awesumore released a video for the single “Blu Rok Domination“. Directed by #EpicFilms, we see a young lady being kidnapped, tied up and being interrogated by the trio. They all recite their lyrics to her while she’s shown under a spotlight. OLDIES SUNDAY: @GrungGaadZilla x @ABarringtonLevy – Living Dangerously (1995)

In recognition of Bounty Killa’s recent award presented to him by the Jamaica Star for “Dancehall Achievement” and Barrington Levy’s release of his first album in 20 years, “Licensed To Thrill“, I’ve decided to post their most popular collaboration. Titled “Living Dangerously” and produced by JahScrew in 1995, both artists talk about  a woman who has done them wrong by committing infidelity and she lives a dangerous life. They also advise her on what will happen when they leave, and she must better herself before it goes real bad for her. This was a great combination of Bounty Killa’s commanding voice and hard lyrics, and Barrington Levy’s signature crooning.

Noisey Music is back with another episode of the “Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show“. In today’s episode Noisey features Reggae star I-Octane. Here Codine Williams showcased I-Octane rehearsing for his performance at Reggae Sumfest and recording dubs at Buju Banton’s Gargamel Studios. Octane also spoke on his upbringing, his interest in music at a young age, his mission to make his music speak volumes and gain further recognition, and being a good influence. Nice Interview, I like that they featured his “We Love The Vibes” single and dropping a exclusive at the end. I wished this interview was longer though. Today’s music video comes from Jamaican Hip Hop artiste, Flyte Dreams. Titled “The Realest” and directed by Granville Singh for Ville Productions, Flyte raps about enjoying himself with the ladies while he’s seen chilling with a lady friend.
