Mortimer Gives Us A Visual For “Flowers & Flames”

Within the past couple of years, Recording Artist Mortimer’s time was filled with a number of performances, and he released music that locked in quickly with listeners. The past year also put his name in golden letters as his 2024 debut project, “From Within” was nominated for a GRAMMY for “Best Reggae Album“. He didn’t win the coveted award, but the rest of the world started paying more attention to him. Fresh off of the red carpet, he gives us a visual for the single, “Flowers & Flames“.

Directed by SAMO, Mortimer puts his music on the screens again with the Visualizer for his 2025 single, “Flowers & Flames”. The visual is filled with warm tones throughout, complimenting Mortimer’s performance, and the flames that are present. “Flowers & Flames” quickly became a favourite for listeners, and if you’re in Jamaica, you can hear it being performed live at the upcoming “Lost In Time Festival” on February 28 at Hope Gardens in Kingston. It’s the season for new things. For Recording Artist Protoje, it’s “Album SZN“! With fans speculating when he will drop a new album, and launch another staging of his popular “Lost In Time” Festival, he calmed them a little with the announcement of an album called, “The Art Of Acceptance“, and teased that the Festival will be returning sooner than we think. Kicking things off the right way, we get the first single titled, “At We Feet“.

Produced by Winta James and featuring Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, Protoje sets the tone this Album SZN with, “At We Feet”. The “unofficial Marley brothers” finally unleashed a collaboration that many longed for, with each Artist dropping solid lyrics that will bring the people together around the world. The single is accompanied by a colourful music video directed by SAMO, and we’re treated to great visuals of Jamaica including the Island’s Architecture, the Farming culture, and of course our Sound System culture. That scene where Protoje stands below the “Private Property. No Beach Access” is just a highlight that is very necessary. Gongzilla and King Digg at the controls, will we also get a collab album? One can hope. Chronixx returned from his hiatus last year, and now Protoje makes his return. Stayed tuned!

Produced by Protoje and Winta James for In.Digg.Nation on the “Feel It Riddim”, Mortimer delivers something for the lovers in, “Flowers & Flames”. We all need love, many of us have been hurt, but we have hope that our moment will come where we’re loved and treated right. One can be as delicate as a Flower when love is involved, but when passion draws near, expect intense moments. Mortimer is the latest voice on the “Feel It Riddim”, and he has a lot more in store for the fans in audio and physical form. St. Elizabeth-based Recording Artist/Creative Evaflow has been displaying his line of creations for a number of years. With his brand, he has opened his doors to fellow Creatives who needed a platform for their unique expressions, and he has put together content that continues to stand out. Recently, after much anticipation, he released the album, “Start From The Sky Vol. 1 – The Sun Never Sets“.

Featuring 10 tracks, Evaflow hasn’t just released the album, “Start From The Sky Vol. 1 – The Sun Never Sets”, he released a scroll filled with positive messages, motivation, and good intentions. The album got a slow release over time as Evaflow shared previously 8 out of the 10 tracks, but the Artist believed that NOW is more right than ever to make everything come together in a proper package.
