They call him “Hov“, they say he’s not a Businessman, he’s a Business…man, but we know him as Jay-Z! Recently he released his 13th studio album titled, “4:44 (Buy Here)“, and many were blown away by the direction he took with the content. One of the standouts however is “BAM (Get It Here)“, his collaboration with the “Gongzilla“, Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, combined with the sampling one of the most sampled Dancehall singles of all time, “Bam Bam (Get It Here)” by the iconic Sister Nancy. Today, they unleashed the visuals for that track. Directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat and shot during Jay’s recent visit to Jamaica, we get a glimpse of Kingston including the iconic Trench Town, the infamous Tuff Gong Studio, and guest cameos included Hip Hop Producer Young Guru, Recording Artist Kabaka Pyramid, Junior Reid, Former Miss World (and Damian’s Mama) Cindy Breakspeare, and the elements of what makes our music culture so amazing! No more talking, watch the video below!
The youngest Veteran Damian “Junior Gong” Marley recently stopped by Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” Radio show. Hosted by Ebro, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg, Gong spoke on his “Distant Relatives” collaborative album with Rapper Nas still being popular today, the Marley name still being a strong one, starting his own Medical Marijuana business with Ocean Grown Extracts, sharing his favourite songs from his father, his thoughts on Dancehall music today, being an advocate for the legalization of Marijuana in Jamaica and more. While “Distant Relatives” is still a popular album along with his solo albums and Ghetto Youths International compilations, I know fans are just waiting for the next solo project from the Gongzilla in January. Stay tuned. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Ready to start a riot is the duo of Sean Paul and Damian Marley. Releasing the video to their “Riot” single, we see both artists deejaying their message amongst decay and havoc made by riot starters. Very clean video which was directed by Jon J and a great effort from Sean and Damian. That guy with the dreads and gold teeth looks like he was born to cause havoc (lol). It’s your move. Today’s new video comes from Cham and it features Damian “Junior Gong” Marley. Titled “Fighter” and directed by Kush Asher, we see Cham and Gong playing a game of chess while we witness how corrupt the system can be through a promising young man’s experience. Love this video as it highlights what’s going on daily and I do enjoy how the tables have turned in this as well. Would Cham and Gong do an EP together? Who knows…Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
