Pay attention! It’s that time again where some of Jamaica’s best Yardcore artists grace the stage and display their talent to the masses in a concert series called “Pay Attention“. Held on Saturday June 8 at Club Indulge in Kingston, and featuring acts such as Acmatic, Sly Rankin and others. As a teaser to the show, Pay Attention released a Rap Cypher video featuring Five Steez, Nomad Carlos, Memoirs, Tripple, The Sickest Drama, Gully Cash, and Avalanche. Very dope mix of flows and lyrics, a great showcase of what Jamaicans can do once given the opportunity. Foreign acts pay attention and read this article on making a link up here. Part 2 coming soon. NEW VIDEO: @Lincoln3Dot – Wild For The Night (Remix)

It’s Lincoln 3 to the D-O-T with a new video for the fans. Titled “Wild For The Night (Remix)” and directed by Dakaration and Inix Designz this is 3Dot dropping his polished lyrics of money, girls, and being better than the rest over the A$AP Rocky track of the same name. It’s given the black and white treatment and 3Dot deejaying in one spot. It would’ve been cool if there were different locations used and maybe some colourful graphics. Mixtape Movements: @IamVindon – DemiGod

Today’s new mixtape comes from Blu Rok rapper Vindon and who would’ve thought he’d be interested in Greek Mythology. Titled “DemiGod“, this is 12 tracks of some long awaited music from the Jamaican rapper. With subject lines ranging from motivation music to weed songs, girl song and crew raps, he aims to cover all bases with this release. Featuring production from SOS Dynamikz and features from Eon Smith, Hard Dayz, Dinho and others, Vindon made sure made enough material for ample listen. While you may not find references to Greek Gods and a few may notice he’s inspired by a few popular acts, I believe you should give him a try If you’ve never heard any of his previous efforts. Featuring hot cars, hot girls, graffiti and alot of lights is Trina’s new video. Titled “Round Of Applause” and directed by Montoya, Trina drops her raps like a boss to let everyone know that she still reigns supreme and she already has what everyone’s struggling to get. Very colourful video, although I was expecting some sort of applause in the video but it’s ok. A bedazzled mask? This is track #6 off Trina’s Back to Business mixtape which is executive produced by French Montana. Word on the street is she might be working with a Jamaican artist soon, stay tuned.
