Love is in the air for many. While there will be those stocking up on Candy and Flowers, Rapper Five Steez will be doing what he loves all year…rap. Teaming up with Producer Mordecai, he drops “Love N Art“! Consisting of 9 tracks, Steez pens lyrics that continues his musical journey in being one of the best out there. While you won’t hear him doing his best Brian McKnight or Luther Vandross renditions, Steez delivers and will keep the Hip Hop head entertained. The project also features Shaq The MC who appears on two tracks (Dreamer & The Message). Artwork by Scotty Dreamkiller. If you and yours aren’t into the traditional VDay activities, put this project in rotation. Check out “Love N Art” below and share with a friend. A dream is just the beginning when you’re on a mission to achieve greatness. Rapper Five Steez knows that too well as he continues his journey in music. With the follow up to his 2016 Mordecai Beats assisted collab project “HeatRockz” on the way, he aims to hold listeners over with the single, “Dreamer“. With Mordecai handling the production, the track features Shaq The MC on the hook as Steez shares bits of his life growing up and pursuing his passion, music. This song is also motivation for those who have dreams to build on them. Not a fan of the delivery of the hook on “Pete Sweat’s” part, but the track is a good listen overall. “Love N Art” is the name of the followup project, and sees a 2019 release. It’s “Crunch Time” for the Hip Hop “Supergroup“, The Council (Five Steez, Nomad Carlos, The Sickest Drama, Inztinkz) as their debut Album’s release comes sooner than you think. Teaming up with Kabaka Pyramid, Koro Fyah, and Massy The Creator, they unleashed their 5th single titled, “Misery“. With Inztinkz handling the boards, the Artists offer some social commentary as they detail the conditions faced in Jamaica and how frustrating it can be to the point leaving the Island could be an option. In a society where the blind is leading the blind, and the system barring out those who can make a difference, it really is dread out here. Be on the look out as The Council sees September 29 as the due date for their debut Album, “Nothing Else Matters“. Artwork by Jome Anderson a.k.a. Scotty DreamKiller. Check out the track below.
